Welcome to the Mythology Challenge,

created in partnership with Manx, a good friend, who first had this idea some time back and put it to good use by creating the first instalment of this challenge.

Since it seems like such a fine and interesting topic to some, we have decided to make a second Mythology Challenge for those that weren't around for the first, myself included.

Be sure to add the tag #MythologyChallenge to your post. If you do not do this, we won't take it into .

Without further ado, let's get into what this is about.

We all know Rainbow Six Siege is composed of operators, each with unique abilities, characteristics, stories and much more. Because of this, we, the fans, are given much leeway on how we portray each of them, be it in drawing or in writing.

These facts make it possible for us to associate the R6 operators to other things, like animals, songs or, in this case, deities.

All we ask is that you somehow relate the R6 operators or your personal Original Character to godly beings, whatever mythology they might be from. You may also choose not to utilize a literal God, and go for a mythological creature, like Sirens, per example.

This challenge is not strictly artistic, though it is much tougher for writers. Whoever wishes to take a plunge and make a writing entry, it would be greatly appreciated.

All that is required:

a small written description of the deity you will symbolize, including which Mythology they are a part of, what "powers" they might possess, possibly how you think this powerful creature relates to the operator you chose.

This small description is required in both writing and art entries, though it doesn't have to be written by the same person. If you are an artist who requested the help of a writer for this task, that is okay. All we ask is that you credit the author. If you decide to use an OC, please explain their personality and correlation to the deity well and clearly.

A physical description of the operator you chose to represent, be it in drawing or in writing.

Respect for others. If you are seen disrespecting any Mythology or entry, you will be punished, even if you are not a part of the challenge. If you have an entry, it will be automatically taken down if we believe that you are not being pleasant to others.

The criteria for the evaluation are

Creativity: the use of imagination or original ideas to create something

Effort: a vigorous or determined attempt.

Quality: the standard of something as measured against other things of a similar kind; the degree of excellence of something.

Explanation: a reason or justification given for an action or belief.

The prizes for the participants are:

A free Custom Title and Colour Change, 150 Amino Coins, 3 day feature, for the 1st Place.

A free Custom Title, 100 Amino Coins, 2 day feature, for the 2nd Place.

A free Colour Change, 75 Amino Coins, 1 day Feature, for the 3rd place.

Deadline of the Challenge is June 15th, 2020.

Though it may happen sooner.

Sadly, we have not gotten many participants in our recent challenges, despite there being some who complain about the lack of them.

We ask that whoever is interested speaks up, so that we don't have a ghosted challenge.
