Now that that’s out the way…
This weeks debate is about the October Strike!
The October Strike is a plan to attempt to change America’s economy! The plan is to stop buying anything, stop going to jobs, and to stop using electronics starting October 15th until the change is put into place.
The goal is to raise the minimum wage, free healthcare, 25% corporate tax rate (no loopholes), 12 weeks paid maternity and paternity leave, 4 day work week, and stricter regulations on corporations. There’s more information on its website!

I mean the goals are nice, but I kinda need to buy food, water, and use electronics for school. The most this strike will do is harm the general population. Like the government cares that a few people are going hungry and probably getting fired from their jobs. Good goals, shit process, if you want change communicate with your government instead of whatever the hell this is
I actually didn’t explain it well and misunderstood what was going on. It’s not exactly “not buying anything”. It’s just not going to your job if you can and not ing huge corporations for a while. So the electronics thing was apart of that. Sorry I didn’t explain it so well!
