Setup

20x20x20 cm setup or 8x8x8 inches is the minimum for 2 spiders. They can be housed together but its not recommended as cannibalism can still occur. Substrate needs to hold humidity well, can use organic topsoil. Need security, lots of cork bark is recommended along with plants and twigs. While not web builders, silk threads may be used for mobility and security.

Temperature and Humidity

Humidity needs to be around 50-60% and misting should be done every 2-3 days while avoiding the spiders and possible egg sacs. Temperature should be 26-34° C (78.8-93.2°F). Good lighting must also be a factor as they're heliophilic. Avoid using natural sunlight as overheating is very possible. Simple halogen lights for cooler rooms and fluorescent tubes for warmer rooms can be used. They should have a specific and constant 12 hour light cycle.

Feeding

They are insectivorous, and in captivity, the best results have been from flies, crickets and roaches.
