Hey there, survivors and slashers!

Imagine it for a moment. Spring’s warm embrace, the world around you seeming to jump back to life as if it never left. Trees once filled with lifeless branches now revealing their soul once more with brilliant colors and lush greenery. There’s something chilling beyond the forests, however. A dark presence, gloomy and undying, finding something of a home birthed underneath the shadows of such a warm façade. It’s subtle, but its unrelenting. Perhaps it’s nothing more than a hunch, something that makes you look back to make sure you aren’t being followed. The stalker hides from your view, shrouded in darkness. It waits, ready to spring out at a moment’s notice in this beautiful time of year. Turn your back at the wrong time, and you’ll find a knife twisted in it.

Imagine a scenario where the Resident Evil characters are stuck in Woodsboro with a Ghostface killer on the loose. How would they survive and outsmart Ghostface with their skills? Would they find a way to survive the night, or would they become another name added to the list of Woodsboro’s victims?

𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓

Create a new Ghostface variant using a Resident Evil antagonist or protagonist! This could be a drawing piece where a Resident Evil character reveals half of their face behind the Ghostface mask (while making obvious on who it is), a writing piece (of however you would like to reveal or let the audience know who the killer is), an edit (photo or video, video edits would be something like ghostface and then a resident evil character in the same edit), or a collective where people can do character sheets including weapons, motives, etc!! The options are endless, and the choice for this event is yours.

1. All entries must follow the Community Guidelines as well as amino’s own rules. Like with any event, if your entry doesn’t follow the guidelines, it’ll be disqualified and none of your entries for this event will be counted.

2. We’re accepting all types of entries—art, writing, edits, themes, whatever you can come up with. It’s an open and creative event, so feel free to do what you like! Just make sure it follows the guidelines.

3. Entries like art, edits, and themes need proof that you made them. This could be your signature, watermark, or progress shots. If you have a verified title for your creative work, you don’t need to show proof shots, but we still ask that you include a signature or something similar.

4. Any images you use that weren’t made by you need to be credited. Sources matter!

5. All entries must be resident evil and/or scream themed. Anything outside of that won’t count for the event.

6. Multiple entries are totally welcome! Since there are 2 prompts, we encourage you to submit more than one entry if you can. Just make sure to mention which prompt you’re using at the start of your post so we know where to place it!

7. You don’t have to stick to one community! Scream’s amino has a different individual prompt, so if you want to that one too, feel free. We encourage everyone to get creative and explore both sides of the collab!

8. As mentioned in our last event, plagiarism, ai-generated work, or copying someone else’s content won’t be allowed. This is meant to be fun, not competitive. If we catch any of that, your entry will be disqualified.

9. If you’ve got questions, just leave a comment or reach out to a committee member! This is a big collab event, and we want to make sure everyone’s on the same page.

10. Please use the hashtag #REScream2025 in your submission so we can see all event-related posts together! Your submission won’t be accepted otherwise.
