hey hey hey, everyone!! i’ll be sharing more about this event soon once i narrow down what i actually want to draw—seriously, i have a gazillion ideas bouncing around right now! but for the time being, i really just wanted to show off the posters i made for it, since you can only catch glimpses of them on the cover.

i'm super proud of how these turned out! they might look simple at first glance, but i poured a ton of time and editing into them. i always try to bring as much effort and accuracy as possible into anything i do—whether it's for an event entry or the announcement itself. so i really hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed making them!

these took a while, especially since i had to edit the hand in, make sure the knives looked the same color, and matched the lighting of the characters. plus, i had to double-check that the shading and shadows actually made sense... it was a mess. i hate editing /jov

trying to put them all together was also a huge pain :sob: i tried manually doing it on ibispaintx, but couldn’t get the sizing right, so then i had to go digging through google to find a collage maker that didn’t throw everything into a weird layout when all i needed was a clean side-by-side.

i tried to pick the good ones where they looked like they were smirking or just being menacingly evil—because let’s be honest, most leon icons just have him looking depressed or pissed off. jake is... well... a lil ugly sometimes, so i had to find one that looked decent and didn’t make me cringe (i’m getting jumped for that). claire always looks sad for some reason, and jill was never in the pose i needed her in. wesker was easy though, because... he’s wesker.

also yes, there are two different knives. i don’t really know why, probably because they’re from different posters so... grins. that’s fun.
