I'm floating a idea about officially allowing trading in this amino. But before I start making rules and such for it and guidelines I want to see what y'all think. And if you have any suggestions please leave a comment below. This is just looking to see if there is a interest here.

You can always use a general delivery at a post office and pick up your package there. If you don't feel comfortable trading just don't do it.
I might be worried if the trade was in a local area close to me but if your mailing to each other. And most trades are going to be in other states.
It really boils down to trust. Have a good long conversation with who your trading with. Be smart don't trade with a stranger get to know them. If you don't feel comfortable don't do the trade.
We could create a list of eligible traders list that is approved by the owner or curator. Those 16-17 would need consent from a parent and packages would be sent to them.
Is there any way to protect giving away your address? I'm just thinking of how unsafe it would be to put your personal information on a chatroom like that
You would use a private chat to do transactions. Nothing would be in the chat room feed except specimens.

Even still how is that protecting kids? Some creep could be baiting kids to send them their address in a private message...

We are looking at possible making a list of qualifying individuals who meet the condition of being able to trade. Which will means its going to be limited on 2 conditions which is 1 by age and 2 by how long they been collecting. So that greatly reduce who can trade. And if someone is not on the list they can't trade unless given approval. So my team is currently doing everything to make sure if we do allow this that kids be safe. But if we do allow it and we notice that trouble is happening then we will do what is needed to keep this amino safe
I would reccomend some form of approval by the curator team before people are allowed to trade. Its would make it easier to keep kids safe and to could ban people following complaints
