There were two of them, always two.

They say that the Ramoso twins were born the night the stars refused to shine. Virgilio was the first to come out, three seconds before Leandro, but between the two of them, Leandro cried first.

And so it came to be that when they grew up, people always saw them as mirror images of each other. They had the same sharp jaw, the same deep, midnight eyes, and the same playful charm with smart wits to match.

Other people, even their own family, struggled to tell them apart-something they used to their advantage. They would play tricks on others, pranks that never went too far but we're definitely troublesome.

Still, no matter how alike the two can get, there was still something that gave their identities away. Leandro smiled more, laughed more, he was the brains of their games. Virgilio was his brother's enabler, he followed his whims with delight, and was always the one to get them out of trouble, but only after they've had their fun.
