INTRODUCTION

Welcome to The Events Committee Recruitment Page!

You are able to learn everything you may need to know regarding our committee on this post and those linked within it. Any questions or concerns can be expressed through the inbox with any of the committee staff . You may also ask questions in the comments of our this post! OUR MISSION

The Events Committee is devoted to the creation and spread of a large variety of challenges in the Roleplaying Amino Community. We release biweekly challenges that are available for anyone and everyone in the RPA community who may find interest in them.

We are also here to assist the RPA Community in the creation of their own challenges that they would like to release. We can help you plan, put together, and release each idea in a timely manner, all it takes is a private message to one of our current staff within the Committee. We strive to make each challenge as enjoyable to the of the community as possible. We prefer to release a large variety so that everyone can find an interest in each one. Our goal is to increase the flow of creativity within the community to keep ideas constantly streaming through the minds of our fellow community . Our challenges allow for the expansion of minds. Our goal to encourage fellow to expand their horizons and try new things they may not have considered trying before.

TEAMS

The Events Committee has three main different ‘teams’ our participate in. Each team has a specific job, and thus a specific task, for each event or challenge that is created and released within the committee. Every member is a part of every team but in the application you will be asked which part of the event process you wish to work on the most. You will be expected to participate in other teams when needed. That being said everyone is responsible for helping think of prompts!

The Aesthetic Team

These are tasked with creating and deciding on the aesthetics for each challenge created. Each assignment usually consists of four or more banner photos and a cover image.

The Writing Team

of the writing team are tasked with writing the introduction, rules, teaser, the general content, layout of the post, etc. for each challenge.

The Judges

Additionally, we have the judges , which is optional for all EVC including coleads. The judges consists of any EVC member who would like to judge for winners of events. Being in the judges means that an EVC member cannot participate in any event ongoing at the time. If wanting to participate in the current event, that member would need to leave the judging room for the duration of that event. Returning to judge for the next event is optional.

APPLY

To apply is simple, simply go down to the application link (also noted below) and click on it. In the comments will be a comment of the application. Copy and paste that into your own post (with the hashtag) and fill it out. Once posted make sure to link it in the comments! The EVC staff will get back to about your application status. That’s it!

Anyone is welcome to apply who wants to be apart of the group, just to only apply though if you know you will be able to help out though.
