The Pirate and the Mermaid

Physical Description:

Ronris stands at five foot ten inches, and weights about one hundred and ninety pounds. He's somewhat lean with some muscle tone from working on the ship his mother gave to him. He has golden brown eyes, which were the eyes he inherited from his father. He has brown hair much like his mother and wears it in a spikey manner, so he usually has no "captain's hat".

Some of his distinguishing marks are: An "X" shape scar on his back, a few random scars on long his torso.

His back story:

Ronris's story began before he was born. His mother Captain Elizabeth Gallion was one of the most feared pirates on the seas. It was during a stormy night when her ship Cavantis was suddenly over taken by mutiny that was lead by her first mate Alastair. Alastair out right trapped her in the captain's cabin and raped her right there. Afterwards though, Elizabeth killed him right after he was done.

After she brought the mutiny to a stop, things went normally for her. At least till she hit the next port town three months later, that was when she found out that she was pregnant. So for six months this feared pirate went into hiding in order to give birth to her son Ronris.

When the boy was old enough, his mother brought him onto the ship where he learned everything that could be taught to him about sailing on the seas. Many of the loyal men on the ship helped their captain raise Ronris, and treated him like gold. Yet there was one man on that ship who did act like Ronris's father. Tucker Abrham, the man who took over the first mate spot after Alastair's death. Tucker taught the boy how to fight with the sword and gun, much like he did with Elizabeth before she became Captain. As the boy grew he started to learn about legends that his mother has been chasing for years prior to his birth. Especially the legends of the Mermaids, which was Elizabeth's favorite legend to tell Ronris.

At the age of twenty, his mother started to become ill and she gave him the spot of being Captain of the ship.

Plot:

Every pirate on the high seas is looking for something that would establish his foot hold in the world. Most are searching for power and riches. While like his mother, Ronris has been searching for legends and myths through out the seas. Most of the "legends" that he and his mother had hunted down has been treasure legends. Much like the treasure from Captain Flint that he buried on Treasure Island.

With his sources, research and the help of his mother he comes to a place called Haven Isles. A port city famous for their generosity, food, entertainment, their legends, and their independent police force. When the Cavantis makes port for a few reasons, Ronris ventures the port city to learn from the locals a couple of things that he wanted to know when he runs into YC, a mermaid hiding in plain sight. Their first meeting is in her herbalist shop where he makes a purchase. For some reason, she gains Ronris's attention and when ever he got the chance he spends some time with her. It isn't long before he falls in love with her, but alas it was time to leave for he finally discovered where he needed to go through the clues he found. Instead of just racing off though, he invites YC to come with him to see where he was going. Unfortunately she declines in order to keep her secret, for the Blue Moon a sacred night for the Mermaid is coming and she needs to be at Mermaid Island to in with her merfolk.

On that very night, while YC is swimming in the sacred moon light she's captured by a net and dragged up out of the water by pirates. That is when her eyes will lands upon Ronris, who is also in shock. Suddenly she's "accidentally" released back into the water by Ronris, and she's able to go home.

The next day, Ronris returns to Haven Isles where he confronts YC and confesses everything to. It isn't long though that one of his crew sees them talking and recognizes her as the Mermaid. Soon a Mutiny is started and now the lives of Ronris, YC and other innocence are in danger.

Can Ronris fight off the Mutiny and save the woman he had fallen in love with? Will he run with her and leave the innocence to die as these pirates defile the name of the ship? or will he die trying to defend his love? I guess we will have to see.
