ꗃ A GREETING || 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

hello hello everyone, welcome to my

icebreaker which i did to kill time. i

dont really need to bother with an

intro here because this whole post

is basically an introduction but, well,

habit and all that.

that said this includes all the question

segments except for the art once. i'm

not an artist so there was no reason

to include it.

btw parts of this got really long since

when i'm bored i ramble. just a warning.

anywho, i hope you like the aesthetic :3

                        𝐈 ܀ 𝖈𝖆𝖑𝖑𝖎𝖓𝖌

                       ｟ name, nickname, pronouns ｠

              ⚘ you can call me by anything but i mostly go

             by el or lue (which is short for lurid). i do prefer

             they/them but i won't ever get upset with you

              for using any other set of pronouns. most tend

              to use she/her since i normally use feminine

             profiles

                        ｟ timezone and rambles ｠

              ⚘ while i won't get into the specifics i live in

              the mst, which i believe is utc-7.00 but don't

              take my word for it. if we end up chatting a

              lot you'll likely hear me talk about the weather

              a lot since winter in my town always kills me

              since one day its fine and the next day the

              world is inhospitable with no warning.

                           ｟ what led to rpg ｠

              ⚘ i actually saw an ment previous to

             ing that caught my eye but, since my amino

             was being extraordinarily broken i couldn't

             then and instead ed when i saw a second

             ment in a different roleplay comm i

              lurk in.

              ⚘ unsurprisingly this was motived by my free

             time haunting me and a need for a few more rp

             partners. i have one right now and he is brilliant

             but our schedules clash a lot so you can guess

              how that goes.

                        𝐈𝐕 ܀ 𝖙𝖗𝖎𝖛𝖎𝖆

                         ｟ five fun little facts ｠

              ⚘ trivia on myself is something i'm not great

              at so just have a rapid fire list. one; i'm type

              one diabetic due to having :sparkles: poor genetics :sparkles:

             two; my favourite stand alone novel is 19 souls

              by j.d. allen. it's a mystery/suspense so if you

              like those maybe check it out. and i say stand

             alone here because i picked it up when she

              first released it and, despite it now having

              four installments, i believe you can read just

             the first one and be content.

              ⚘ three; i like to bake a lot. it's my therapy

             approved stress hobby. four; i don't really use

              any social media. its just this app, tumblr, and

             discord. five; i collect plushies, candles, and

              gnome relates items.

                        𝐕 ܀ 𝖗𝖕 𝖍𝖎𝖘𝖙𝖔𝖗𝖞

                       ｟ my history with the hobby ｠

              ⚘ i started roleplaying back in i want to say

              2016 or 2017. it was on quotev and i was

              atrocious and it was even worse because me

              and my sibling shared an , so i got

              their messages and they got mine and they

              loved to ghost people and they loved to hop

              into the middle of my chats. i spent so much

              time just cleaning up after them and cringing

             after opening the wrong thread because they

              did those types of rps, if you get my meaning.

             still, i recall it fondly, even if ing

              my first oc makes me want to die a little.

              ⚘ but yeah, i've roleplaying doing this for a

             while. i picked it up at about the same time i

             started writing and haven't really stopped

              since. it's soothing

                        𝐕𝐈 ܀ 𝖒𝖚𝖘𝖊𝖘

                         ｟ my favorite muses ｠

              ⚘ this is going to get long so i apologize now.

              that said i have my top few muses: Locken

              whom is my second oldest oc and has gone

              through so many revisions but remains super

             cringy. Aya, my tiny healer who's very flexible

              to the setting. Lillian, a newer muse of mine

              who actually has a post here. and Eline, my

             modern supernatural gal who never gets

             used since she's more then a little neurotic.

              ⚘ Locken's set changes a lot but she is

              distinctly a fantasy or supernatural based

             character. having started off as Icy Rose and

             a creepypasta oc she's come a long way but

              you can still see her origins reflected in her

              appearance and base personality. she's super

              tall, has really pale skin and red eyes and

              stick straught black hair. super standoffish

              and written to be just left of sociopathy.

              over time i've also turned her into an thrill

              seeker slash adrenaline junkie since it helps

             smooth over some of her more :/ parts and

              works brilliantly with her backstory

              ⚘ Aya was made in the same period just a

              few months later. originally she was 14 and

              a standard modern set oc but that got wiped

             clean and i redid a lot of her basics by

              accident. she remained sickly and her

              appearance barely changed but her primary

             setting moved to fantasy. she's my baby,

              my number one that i love and adore and you

              can see that in just how many notes i have

              about her and all the different versions. her

             history changes a lot after about age 4-5

              and can connect to a ton of my other muses.

              i just love her even if people tend to dislike

              her due to her personality.

              ⚘ Lillian i made in february 2022 (big leap

              from my 2017/2018 girls above) which i

              checked by looking at her images data. i

              didn't really make her with a lot of care or

             thought, her entire amino wiki even with my

              fancy formatting fits within 6 pages of my

             samsung notes with a 14 point font. (that

              sounds like a lot but, for reference, a single

              page fits within amino's message limit.) like

              i said before she does have a post here and i

              made a google doc for her just yesterday

              she's meant to be withdrawn and melancholic,

              a manic beauty who only cares for music. i

              love writing her. its very fun to sink into that

             bittersweet thought process that's heavy and

             acidic in your teeth.

              ⚘ last is Eline, my lovely lovely lovely muse

             inspired by a slew of things i had seen. made

              july 2021 i've had almost constant brainrot

              about her since then and she haunts me, an

              ironic statement since she can see ghosts,

              spirits, curses, and the like. the reason she's

              so mentally and emotionally unstable is due

              to that power and the fact it had her

             institutionalized until she was a teenager.

              even now it makes her sick which is why she's

              a hermit thats very superstitious. she has

              one main friend, Jace, and writes about the

              things she sees online as a way to cope. i

              made her both meek and violent, quick to

              fold when faced with her own sight but

              strong when facing others. she's a spitfire

              despite the way depression eats at her

              bones and very faithful to the few people

              she has. she's nice to write due to the way

              she lays outside a lot of my normal muse

              types, evading my attempts to clearly pin

              her down with ease. she's also my only main

              muse that has a strictly realistic faceclaim.

                        𝐕𝐈𝐈 ܀ 𝖌𝖊𝖓𝖗𝖊𝖘 𝖆𝖓𝖉 𝖙𝖍𝖊𝖒𝖊𝖘                            

                           ｟ my preferences on them ｠

              ⚘ this is in the aforementioned rules post

              but i'm a sucker for fantasy and i'm a sucker

              for supernatural and i adore gothic fiction

              and dark fiction and all of those. i obviously

              do write slice of life and realistic settings,

              infact i quite enjoy them, but i love writing

              the emotions and atmosphere that comes

              from gritter settings. i also love that giddy

             feeling of knowing something my character

             doesn't and since mystery rps are hard to

              pull off i favor genres that tend to have

              mystery elements.

              ⚘ 'theme' wise i have two very harsh sides. on

             one hand i love things like stalking, kidnapping,

             violence, and the like in my fiction but i also

              love the more lighthearted ones. bad boy type

             moves in, whirlwind romance from a meet cute,

             soulmates meeting after whatever event, the

             savior archetype. i just don't talk about the

              more for fun ones as often because its easier

              to grow tired of them due to how systematic

              the writing feels.

                            ｟ my rules and chat preference ｠

              ⚘ i do have a rules post in my wiki that you

              can look at if you're curious but to be frank

             i don't have that many rules. that said i do

              prefer one on one rps more then group chats

              since i tend to get lost in groups. i do like

              reading group rps, its fun to see all the ocs

             and interactions

｟ sorrid details about my affair with creativity ｠

              ⚘ like i stated a wall of text and a few

              questions ago i started writing creatively a bit

             after i got into roleplay. i've always been a

              reader and after stumbling into the world of

              fan fiction the idea of writing didn't feel

             daunting anymore. younger me had discovered

             that anyone can write and that sent me head

             first into it.

              ⚘ the first thing i can writing was

              six chapters of an inuyasha fanfic. it was

              posted on quotev, it went no where, and i can't

             fully recall why i stopped writing it but i'm

              90% certain its because i got to a fight scene

              and just didn't know what to do. obviously this

              fic was horrible and a few years when cleaning

              out storage i found the laptop the files were

              on and read it. it was embarrassing, to say the

             least, but very insightful. i'm very glad little

              me had written a lot in those chapters since it

             gave me an excuse to just skim over it.

              ⚘ and i stuck with fanfic for about a year

             before starting on original content. when i

              was starting, post quotev and about the time

              i discovered amino, i mostly wrote in my

              samsung notes so i can scroll straight down

              and see a vast majority of all the content i

             created 2018 to 2020ish. it's mostly undertale

             stuff but theres a few for gravity falls and

             creepy pasta in there. i think, after looked at

              my titles, 2019 was the last year i really wrote

             fanfic since i started to get fully into the rp

             scene once lockdown hit. to me that was all

              original content and ocs, i've never been a

              fan of playing cannon characters.

                        𝐗 ܀ 𝖘𝖙𝖞𝖑𝖊

                       ｟ what i write about and how ｠

              ⚘ i never write with a clear plan, my fingers

              just hit the keyboard and something happens.

             because of this my style is deeply rooted in

             emotions and thoughts, full of metaphors

              and similes and whatever else just happens to

              fit. i used to write only third point of view but

              this year i've made a sharp shift to second.

              ⚘ now i do write a bit about everything but

              most of my stories are based off of memory.

              you are happy that you had time with this

              person but now that you're by yourself each

             reminder of them hurts. you have been hurt

              by someone but you can't let them go. things

              like that. i've also written a few things on love

             but those aren't as common. it's related but i

              have a vivid memory of one of my friends

              reading a work i had written and halfway

              through he messaged me going, "there it is"

              and i was confused but apparently its so

              common for me to start upbeat only to turn

              it depressing that he was waiting for it to

              happen. it felt like a call out but i just don't

              know how to write romance so it always

              becomes a lost lover or pining situation.

              ⚘ and yes, they're all peices from months ago

              but i've been in a bit of a slump and haven't

             written an actual story in a minute. we all go

             through it.
