Michael was born in Luxor Egypt where he lived until the age of twelve with his mother Rosa who was an archeologist. He grew up learning about the Egyptian culture along with his mother's Hispanic culture.

In his later teens Michael accompanied his mother on her trips, instantly becoming obsessed with the work and the artifacts they found.

By his early twenties, Michael had lost him mother to a group of thieves who wanted what his mother and him had their eyes set on for years. They had killed him in front of her while he could only stand there frozen. Michael blamed himself since then, but he promised his mother he'd protect the object, a stone statue carved in the shape of the Egyptian god Thoth.

Thoth the God of the moon, sacred texts, mathematics, sciences, magic, messenger and recorder of deities, master of Knowledge and patron of scribes had been locked away in the statue for centuries, and believed Michael had what it took in him to protect people, to carry out his wishes.

Michael had only been twenty-three when Thoth came to him in a dream offering him a deal.

Agree to serve Thoth and in return he'd get revenge on those who killed his mother.

Ever since that night two years ago, Michael now a vessel for the God carries out the duties he agreed to.
