Once a man who had been part of many plays, theaters, and ice rings. Marlin Macbeth has been performing acts that relate to famous stories made by people like William Shakespeare. He was once an actor who never got the recognition he deserves. And so Marlin decided to take the risk of being a criminal with his skills in theatrics and dancing. Taking on the persona of a new man of entertainment called the Mad Showman.

This man would get his kicks when it comes to robbing banks and jewelry stores. With Marlin’s history of being an entertainer in ice skating and rollerblading. He uses two types of skates to get away with his crimes, rollerblade and ice skates. Sometimes he uses the ice skates’ blades to fight his enemies. Or at least scare them from getting closer to him. And as a means to escape when someone catches up to Mad Showman. He uses bombs that are designed to distract his chasers or the cops. He carries three types of bombs, confetti bombs, smoke bombs, and flash bombs. Marlin would sometimes quote well known lines from poems and plays when he commits his crimes. He is a big fan of poetry and plays. He is an actor and has played many roles in theaters and other places after all.

He’s may not really a big threat towards NiGHTS, but he is a bit refreshing from fighting Nightmarens. Besides the gimmick and theatric stuff the Mad Showman is kind of normal. Sure he tries to compare himself and NiGHTS as equals. But NiGHTS knows that that’s not they both are different when it comes to entertainment.
