A positive perspective comes from a positive thinking

Maybe you always have thought that the world around you is unfair, that your body isn’t the way that you want, or that things just don’t seem to go right. Many things like that is negative feelings. Negative feelings aren’t the best feeling you would want in this world but it’s hard to get rid or even get it in the first place. It can make you frustrated and be more sensitive to the smallest words. You may even have a sinking or empty feeling and have anxiety or depression. I wanted to tell you some things that I do to cope with that. It might help but everyone’s different so I don’t know if it would help everyone.

1. Distract yourself

      When I say distract yourself I mean be more busy either it is with work, hobbies, going out with your friends, shopping, roller coasters, and etc. I know you might not want to but try it for a day and you might have fun!

2. Hobbies

     Hobbies can often relieve stress especially art, music, pottery, sports, etc. It’s also a way to distract yourself^ but I know many of you probably don’t have time but try to find time and just do it once in a while. For example you can draw on your phone, when you see a piano at an airport or train station play it for a bit, etc.

3. Meditation

      I know I probably sound boring right now but meditation really calms yourself. The great things about meditation is that it can either take a long time or in just 5 min. It is great for people who has an abnormal schedule like me.

4. Chores

     This might sound weird but cleaning your room doing laundry and washing dishes are things that would really help me with stress. You can do this when you have a day off but of course you don’t have to do it all day. And plus you get your house all clean and tidy.

5. Games

     It can be board games or video games. I know many people who play games just to relieve stress and for many people, it distracts them and is really fun. Plus, some games can help you meet new people.

6. Going outside

     Sometimes all you need is some fresh air and just go for a walk. The environment is a great place to walk, you can see a lot of nature. It calms you a lot. You can even just sit there and listen to your surroundings.

7. Just some time alone

    I know I know, you probably won’t believe me because when you start thinking about it you’ll be very negative. But some times you would want to do that and remind you that you are still in reality and face life. This is like an encouragement for you to try harder.

8. Friends/friend

     There might be this one friend or a few friends that you would trust to talk about this to. Talking about it with someone who would listen, be there for you and understand. I know it’s hard to find someone like that but if you do, keep that friend close cause u know, u probably can’t find anyone better. You won’t feel alone anymore.

9. Family

    Tell your family, they probably have experienced things like this and would definitely understand. Family is a strong relationship so they would definitely help.

10. Music

       Listening to music before you go to sleep would not only make you feel better but it would help you have a more comfortable sleep. It would help you fall asleep because to be able to sleep, you have to stop caring about everything. But you might be scared to do that because you might have something important tomorrow and you don’t want to forget and your scared. But try to right it down or as a reminder and relax with music.

      Not all of this might be for you. Pick the ones you think would help and try it! This really helped me and I might even write a part 2 if it helps! Please give me some Ideas for what to right next. Cause I don’t have any good ideas.
