looking to expand your self-care knowledge? i suggest using social media! below I’ve linked a bunch of s that i found :) i’ll also include their last few post’s titles so you can get a feel for them. sadly, i couldn’t figure out how to copy the link of tumblr s effectively :(

: you don’t have to have an on the social media platform to view their s!

also, i only have an instagram and tumblr , so it was a bit hard for me to find the others. if they’re no longer active or something, let me know and i’ll change it! if you have any other suggestions, tell me in the comments and i may include them in this blog ;) also, facebook was very difficult to find s for, so i was only able to include one.

@selfcareforus

this has a lot of skin and hair care, a few workouts, but also basic tips that don’t always relate to self-care. they’re still helpful, though!

last three posts : internet beauty hacks to avoid, products for clear glowing skin, what they don’t tell you about skincare

their includes a lot about workouts and acne, and the main focus is your body and how to “look good.”

last three posts : cheap places to get “_____”, cruelty free makeup brands, “boys your bodies are perfect”

@selfcaresis

this literally includes everything, it has a ton of advice, too.

last three posts :  self-love check in, clothing tips, curly hair tips

@skincarebabyy

as the name suggests, this is mostly skincare. there’s some tips, but it’s mostly photos of products. it also includes a few clean and relevant memes every once in a while.

last three posts : simple ways to feel better about your appearance, a meme about clothes, “anyone with acne like mine – here’s a miracle”

@selfcareokay

I'd agure Tumblr. After being off that site for 3 years, I'd say I notice an improvement with myself. I found Tumblr to negative.

hmm, it might have just been the s you were following or the amount of time you spent on it daily. i typically only use it once a week to look at fashion type things and it’s coming off as neutral - not really positive or negative - to me.

I was following a bunch of people and there was always drama. And it was always so draining. Even drama that isn't directed at me. Plus I found a lot of the whole "this was written by a nt" or "you must be an nt. Cause it doesn't say what you have on your profile." Stuff also draining.

I also spent a lot of time on it. And I also had someone sending me hurtful messages and for a while I had submit up and someone sent me photos of guns. Which is a trigger for me. ( ed relationship abuse with that stuff.)

So for me It was a mix of stuff. I do like Pinterest. It's got a lot of mental wellness stuff. Not a lot of drama. And you can report porn and block people more properly etc.

It's just I had bad experiences with Tumblr.

Also i noticed on tumblr some people dont reply unless your on anon also. Which i find a little odd.

So I'd just suggest if social media/ Tumblr is your go to, to try other sites too. Even more so if drama is draining. I have bpd so that could be another reason why drama took a lot out of me. But Yeah, after a while I started to experience anxiety just being on there. And I have a current for kidcore. But I don't use it that often. XD

I like this app cause I finally get social interactions without being yelled at. :)
