Mischief Managed// Touch Of Summer

Jace had been doing what Jace does best. Training. “Same thing almost everyday!! He grumbled, he moaned. Alec was a task master whose sheer unbridled attention was to make sure his team was Fit and flexible for any Demon attack. Jace jumped from the Arena with Skill. “IZZY ISABELLA wait up!! She turned sharply. “Jace don’t. Izzy flipped her long dark hair behind her. “If Alec catches us slacking he’ll make us run drills around the grounds, and I hate extra Duties on top of Nightly Hunts, you do to Brother of mine.”

”I was merely going to say, let’s wait till Alec’s Off Campus and go start a fire! Jace said winking.

Isabelle batted her long lashes. “Tempting as that is if We’re caught getting up to trouble Alec with ground us Both.” Jace pouted, his lower lip quivered slightly. “Oh cone on Iz every day is doldrum around here.” Jace spoke agitated.

”Theres gotta be a way to have a little fun.” But Jace sulked back to the Arena. Clearly defeated.

Isabelle watched him go. “Jace for Raziels sake I want some excitement or something magical to happen to, but orders are orders.” She hissed under her Breath walking down the crumbling hallways of the Institute. Disrepair and old age had really done a number to their home. “This place needs a lift and quick I can watch paint peel faster than grass grows around here.”

”Alec!! Alexander!! Rounding a sharp corner and opening the door to her Brothers Study she stepping into The room.

Alec was a sight. “IZ SHUT THE DOOR!! Isabelle jumped aside just inches in speculation as a Giant Snowy Owl swooped past him beating its feathery wings of shimmery white. “BY THE ANGEL OPEN A WINDOW!! Isabelle ducked low again by a chair. “What Oh Earth….

Jace heard the Commotion and came running. “Where’s the Fire!! Izzy pointed upward as Jace barely missed a swoop at his head. “Alec how’d you get an Owl in your room!! The dark haired Alexander frowned in a growl.

”How should I know I was certain the windows were locked!! He puffed as the Snow covered Bird took another WOOSH around the room. “We’ll get it out, we’re not equipped to house Wild life and it will Ruin my office!! The Lightwood barked his nerves on edge.

Isabelle Alec and Jace all froze as the Owl lighted on top of the Fireplace. Dropping an envelope and a satin bag as Jace caught it puzzled.

Jace Handed the embossed Letter over to Alec. Who Read it out loud.

Jace held the satin bag in his right hand. “Says it’s called Floo Powder All we need do is say the name of this School and we’ll be taken there at once.”

Alec looked Skeptical. “A Group of Magical Witches and Wizards want “OUR” assistance to trace an unknown Demon, sounds preposterous, especially since we know nothing of this Hogwarts.” Isabelle groaned. “Alec your a repressed Wet Blanket, who knows when we might get the opportunity to do this again, I say we go.” The Lightwood grinned completely on board and eager for this adventure at once.

Jace chimed in. “They did ask for assistance Alec, come on let’s get out Hunter on!! The Herondale was practically shaken with excitement.

”You Actually want to do this?? Alec looked at them both. “Of course we do! Jace and Isabelle chimes in on unison. Alexander sighed. “By Raziel this Better not come back to haunt me.” He narrowed his eyes squinting at them both. “And you two, any funny business I’ll send you home for a lecture on GOOD behavior in other realms.” Alec felt clearly outmaneuver in the Matter. “We stick together, all three of us, withst thou go .” He had doubts as they all three shouted “Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft And Wizardry” as Hedwig the snowy Owl flapped their wings behind the Shadowhunters as they stepped forth into another land from across the Divide.

Across the Plains. Far over Lucious Hill scapes and Rolling waves of greenery a Mighty and Ancient Castle stood Luminous and Casted with dotted clouds that bore a touch of sunlight. This Wizards homeland had stood for over a near Century and from Harsh Ivied stone Hogwarts Was the Heartland beating in every Witch and Wizard. It’s massive Stone archways and Impressed legacy where every lesson every Witch and Wizard first stepped.  

”Look if Either of you make me late for Herbology It will be detention for all three of us.” A Spirited Young girl carrying Spell books spoke up.

“Blimey Hermione It’s nearly the start of summer, you seriously need to relax.” A Wispy youthful red head Chirped. He always did. His name was Ron. “Look I it classes are ending once summer starts We won’t see each other anymore….And I’ll be back with the Dursley’s….locked up….pretending I don’t exist…. The Famous boy talking was of Course Harry Potter.

Hey Look it’s Hagrid!! Hermione Ron and Harry waved. Fang his loyal Neapolitan Mastiff. “Get off Er Fang!!

Hagrid the Groundskeeper and Animal enthusiast waved his massive hands. “Oy you lot shouldn’t you three be off to class.” As they hugged him. “I told them so and they won’t listen Hagrid it’s a downright Shame.” Hermione said arms crossed. “Well Yer ear now, sit a spell and gather round the fire, it’s been a hot country minute and yer all ready to go see yer families for summer I reckon.” Hagrid cast a look at Harry. “I got somethin for ya Harry.”

”Managed to get Dumbuldore to loan these out for ya since ya know Summer and all that.” Harry took the books, a few Blank Pieces of parchment and a few supplies he could practice with over the summer.

”aww thanks Hagrid you’re the best.” Harry put everything in his bag as Hagrid handed out Berti Bots Every flavored Beans. “Not to worry yer Ed’s I took out the Bad ones” handing a small bag to Harry “give these to Dumbuldore when ya see him Chocolate is his favorite flavor.” Harry tucked them in his school Satchel. Fang began growling low by the fireplace. “Fang what is it boy!! As Hagrids fireplace sparked and fizzled.

”What in the Billy Blue Blazes!! The four of them Jumped back as Three Mysterious tumbled out of The Log stacked fireplace. Ron Hermione and Harry grabbed their Wands. “State Yer name and business before we send you to Azkaban!! Hagrid narrowed his bushy eyebrows. Fang bristled and growled. Harry stood in front of his friends to protect them. “State your names and intentions before we alert the Heaster!!

Alec stood and in second grabbed his bow. “Alec chill their children!! Jace looked around the modest Hut was now cramped with the extra bodies. “Oh How Quaint!! Isabelle bubbled seeing the modest Decor and The cozy feeling of a fire lit night. “Alec By the Angel Relax!! Hagrid spoke up. “Not to be impertinent but who is yer?? “You don’t look like yer from around here!! As Ron, Hermione and Harry watched cautiously. “Look clearly their not from this time or Our world so whom are you?? She said abruptly. Alec spoke first still trying to get a grip on the situation.

”The Letter Alec!! Show them the letter!! Alec pulled out the letter Sent to them as Hagrid read it.

”Their Demon Hunters From Brooklyn, apparently Albus Summoned them and not a moment too soon I reckon.” Hermione was skeptical. “So wait your saying “Demon Hunters” from another time are here to talk to the greatest Witches and Wizards of All time, I smell rubbish and not the good kind either.” Ron sighed. “Forgive her she’s always like that, names Ronald Weasley and it’s a pleasure! He looked at Jace and smiled. “I think it’s great we get more help here!!

Alec wasted no time. “I’m Alexander Gideon Lightwood a Shadowhunter gifted by the Angel Raziel and these are my Parabatai and Sister Izzy.”

Izzy waved as Jace began walking around the cramped Cottage. “Suppose we could take this outside, it’s a little too cramped in here.” Everyone tumbled outside as the Shadowhunters looked around. “Alec were a LONG way from Brooklyn!! Ron, Harry and Hermione watched observantly. “Can you three direct us to this Heaster by chance?

Leaving Hagrid hut behind the Six of them crossed the grounds to Hogwarts. “ I do hope for your sakes you know what you’re doing! Hermione chided.

”So your Students in this School, what kinds of things do you three study.” Jace said inquisitively.

Hermione piped up. “Oh Many different magical arts.” She rattled off a Few. “Potions, Herbology, Transfiguration, Charms, Care Of Magical Creatures, Defense Against the Dark arts.” Just to name a Few.” Isabelle brightened. “Reminds me of Magnus.” Alec had to agree. “He’s a Warlock back in our time that Knows great magic and Aids us when we call for it.” Jace spoke up. “But mostly the three of us spend our time Hunting Demons and saving the Downwold.” Alec shot his Parabatai a look as Jace fell silent. “It’s our Job back home, like yours is school here.”

Walking along the Corridors to Dumbudores Study Alec took in a great amount of observations. “Your School is vast indeed.” He muttered softly. The sooner they got to business the better.

“Hogwarts is a wonderful place, very much My home.” Harry said matted of Fact. In Fact it pained him knowing he would soon be going back to the Dursleys soon. “We learn a lot about magic and Spells and these have been nearly the best years of my young life.” The young Potter felt proud. He charmed a smile at His friends.

”I for one don’t wish to face expulsion or get into any trouble! The Young Granger huffed in a state.

”Sounds like Alec.” Jace whispered back to her. Isabelle was distracted by large overhung portraits. “JACE did you see that, I swear they moved!! She kept her eyes out and sure enough they started moving AGAIN! “This is definitely not The Institute.” Back home none of The Portraits or hung pictures jumped around and it egged her slightly they had the magical ability to do that. “It’s wild.” She followed them with her eyes as they watched her back teasing her.

”Oh Guys class is about to start!! The three dropped the Shadowhunters off by Albuses Door covered by a Giant Griffin.

”Wait how do we get inside!! Jace said in a panic. “Will you Relax” Alec hissed, there’s a Keyword on this letter.”

”Sherbet Lemon!

The Three Shadowhunter watched as the stone Griffen moved aside to a spiral Staircase. Following it downward they exited into a Room filled stem to stern with books, Bookcases, Shelves filled with different vials scrolls, a roaring fireplace. And a Giant Silent water Fountain. “Impressive!! Alec said as the three of them stood there awestruck. “Ohh Look Alec!! Sitting on a Perch was a Lovely and Radiant Phenix. An Actual Living Phenix!! With a full plumage and Titling its graceful head.

”Shes Lovely” Alexander felt strange as if his whole existence laid bare in her eyes. Jace and Izzy didn’t seem to see it but a Single year escaped her eye as if the Lightwood was singled out and Judged before her.

”She knows you more than you could possibly know yourself.” The three of them jumped as Albus entered the room. His robes swayed before him and his eyes the wisdom of the galaxies. “Yes yes I already know, Shadowhunters, good good than you DID get my letter and Hedwig got you here safely.” You’ll do forgive my intrusive thoughts I am older than the earth you know.”

”Come sit sit, I would offer you Delights but as you’re not from our Universe we cannot risk cross contamination from such delights, my humblest apologies.” Albus said.

”I am in need you see, of Aid.” Albus stroked his beard. “Rather I am perplexed, Demons of unknown Origin have seeped into our world and rather than risk evacuation I would like to enlist you three to track them and hunt them down! Alec spoke up. “As you wish at once, could we perhaps get a guide since we don’t know this land? Albus agreed at once. “Of course!! “Hagrid our grounds keeper will assist you.”

”Now make yourselves Ready, tomorrow you will face all there is to your metal, and May the Powers of Godric Gryffindor be ever in your Favor!!
