After his father brutalized and kicked him out in a drunken rage, Daniel found himself homeless on the mean streets of the New York City sprawl. However his luck would change when he found a friend in Wolf. Now with Wolf and the variety of city spirits, Daniel wasn't alone anymore.

Still homeless and still hurting for nuyen, Daniel got into shadowrunning after being hired for a run from a local fixer named Zayda. Given the nom de guerre "Pug" because of his short stature, Pug soon become a popular shaman for any Shadowrunner crew who pays him.
