Sadly the time has come for me to chop off my Sherlock-curls into something shorter, so you won't be getting any new cosplays from me for a while! It usually takes about a month from my haircut to get back to Sherlock curl length, but I have a very busy month ahead anyway because I start university in a couple of weeks! So I doubt I'd have much time for cosplaying anyway. To tide you over, have some more of Sherlock. (I need to do this cosplay again in the daytime, to show off that lovely purple shirt!)

I find looking at other cosplayers' work really motivates me to cosplay as well. I see them and I'm like oh I wanna do that too! And then I try to figure out what I can do similarly.
And hey, cosplaying is part of life~ it can even be done professionally, though for most it is a hobby. (It can even be considered a collection of many hobbies: sewing, crafting, photography, modelling.)

Yeah I know. I love sewing but it is all so expensive. But I will try, Motivation is on the way XD

I didn't sew any of the cosplays on this :P But yes, it can be expensive, depending how ultra screen accurate you want to be. For example a small detail like Sherlock's watch - you could buy any old watch for that if it had a black strap and a white clock face. It doesn't even have to work. This would be very cheap. Or... you could pay a pricey £129 for the exact same design from the right brand. And that is just an example of something small like a watch.
God nuuuu! :sob: :joy: but at least we get one last cosplay and to see your magical purple shirt  :two_hearts:
True! Shame the light doesn't do it justice. Here's what it is like in daylight:
