Chapter 20: Whispers of war

Generation 3 “The Wilsons”

Pearl's pregnancy was progressing without many complications and David was really excited to have a child with Pearl!

Unfortunately, all male sims were called to enlist and go to war. (Just as a disclaimer, I didn't follow the actual timeline, I just sent them to war and once it was done, thanks to a mod, I continued with the generation until it was time to change).

It was finally time for David and Charles to leave, so they both said their goodbyes. Mildred (David's sister) left too, as she would be a war nurse.

Pearl eventually went into labour, it was a long and difficult birth, but she finally welcomed her first daughter Florence Wilson.

Raising a child without her husband was hard, but at least Helen was there to help.

Florence grew quite quickly!

After some time she got the hang of it. She loved her daughter and hoped that David would come home soon to meet her.

Of course, she couldn't have done it without Helen, so she was really thankful to have her.

Briar was also Pearl's , even though she couldn't spend as much time with her, she still loved spending time with her.

But soon news of David and Charles came. They had both died in combat :(

A small funeral was held, because both Pearl and Helen couldn't handle seeing too many people.

Lucile aged up.

Chapter Notes

Well, so they both died 🥲 Archie (Peter+Beatrice's son) and George Jr. also died in the war, the rest of the men survived. And George (Jr.'s father) died of old age.

And in the random things that happened today, I was just trying to take a picture with some poses 🥲

Also, I was trying to change the font of the game and I had to change the language to English (because I've always had it in Spanish) so I repaired the game and I almost lost all save files and mods 🥲 Luckily it just created a new folder instead of replacing the old one, so I just moved all the files to the new one, but I almost died for a few seconds 🤣

I didn't know that would happen so I hadn't even made a backup, so never again 🥲
