TW: TALK OF NOT ACCEPTING PREGNANCY

Venus: "How do you want me to react? Should I be mad at him, happy for you?"

Róisín: "I just want my ive half alien sister that's been there with me through everything . . . I haven't accepted it, but I want to keep it . . . I don't really know how to explain it."

Venus: "If Momma and Papa don't know yet, do you want me to be there by your side when you tell them?"

Róisín: "Could you? I was too exhausted to deal with telling them last night . . ."

Ari: "Girls, breakfast is ready!"

Savanna: "We're coming! Just give us 3 minutes. "

Ari: "I hope you don't mind sweetheart, but I made you your favorite breakfast with the eggs over easy."

Róisín: "It looks delicious, but I feel like this is a trap."

Ari: "Trap a? Maybe a test, but not a prank. "

Róisín: "A test that I don't really want to do. I just want to eat breakfast with eggs that are completely cooked, not runny at all, so I have the energy for an important conversation . . ."

Ari: "Alright Rosie, we won't push it. We made a second plate with cooked eggs, just in case."

Róisín: "Can't you just ignore your intuition for once, and stop making me feel cornered? I wouldn't have left my room if I had known it would be like this!"

Venus: "Rosie, look at me, and just take nice calming breaths, in and out. Just focus on me, and everything will be okay. Do I have your consent to empathize?"

Róisín: "Please empathize sis. I need it . . ."

Anthony: "Róisín, sweetheart, is it okay if I ask you why you weren't quite sure if you were healthy last night?"

Róisín: "I haven't been to the doctor's in 18 weeks . . . All I've been able to do is simoogle my symptoms, hoping that everything is normal . . ."

Anthony: "Is there a reason you're keeping track of how many weeks ago it was rosebud?"

Róisín: "6+18 is 24 weeks pregnant Papa . . ."

Anthony: "I'll make sure everything's okay Rosie. What do you want to start with?"

Róisín: "Can you give me an ultrasound Papa? Is Momma allowed to be there too?"

TW: IMPLIED REMINDER OF FLAVIAN CONTROLLING RÓISÍN’S DECISIONS

Anthony: "Even if visitors weren't allowed, I'd allow it, because I know how important having both of us by your side is to you."

Anthony: "Did the doctor let you listen to the heartbeat before?"

Róisín: "I wasn't allowed to want to hear it . . . But, I want to try . . ."

Aramintia: "Your Papa is going to start the ultrasound with the volume down, then he's slowly going to turn it up, so it won't trigger your misophonia immediately. "

Róisín: "I hope it's not a trigger . . . I really do want the baby, and I want it to be healthy, but the pregnancy has been difficult to accept . . ."

Anthony: "The gel is going to be a little cold Rosie."

Róisín: "What's with the bald cap Papa?"

Anthony: "You always laugh when I look silly, so I figured it would help."

Róisín: "It does. Is that . . ?"

Anthony: "Would you like to hear your daughter's heartbeat?"

Róisín: "Daughter? Maybe a low volume first."

Anthony: "Is this okay?"

Róisín: "A little louder? I think it's okay. "

Róisín: "Her heartbeat is beautiful. "

Ari: "Just like her Momma's heartbeat. Hearing yours and Jared's heartbeats for the first time was magical."

Róisín: "Don't get so sentimental Momma. I've been crying way too easily recently because of the hormones. "

Anthony: "Do you want me to print out the ultrasound?"

Róisín: "Could you? She's healthy, right?"

Anthony: "She's measuring how she should be at 24 weeks, her heartbeat is healthy, and you are healthy to Róisín. "
