I have made these fits and took the pic like days ago but I keep forgetting to post…
Anyway the theme is sweets, and as a proper Dutch person, my first thought was stroopwafel. But that is kinda basic, so I thought of other Dutch sweets (mostly just desserts but they are sweet desserts!). But then I couldn’t choose so I did all four kinda like a plate of sweets.
So allow me to introduce the Dutch sweets I used as inspo. First things first, the one everyone knows and was a challenge on the great British bake off, the stroopwafel. As the name says, it is a waffel filled with caramel.

For stroopwafel Lynn I just used a bunch of brown checkered pattern, the hair is like the caramel droops.
Second is the oliebol, translated literally as oilball. Is is a ball of dough, often with raisins in it, that is fried in oil. You put some powdered sugar on it. It is our new years food.

Since it is a new years food I wanted this one to be kinda festive. Her lower colors are brown but her hair is white because of the powdered sugar on top.
Third is the tompoes. No clue how the describe it. Just pastry with a sh*t ton of cream filling. Impossible to eat cleanly. Standard color is pink but on national holidays or sporting events it becomes orange.

This Lynn is made with layers. Pink hair for the icing, a brown collar, yellow dress and brown shoes. Just like the food.
And lastly the Bossche bol. It is just a massive choux. These ones also turn orange like the tompoes.

I went for the orange version for sweets Lynn. Cause like most of Dutch sweets are brown apparently. I also wanted her to be very round and fluffy, all the cream filling. Also it is sweet Lolita so it is on theme that way too.
And here is the final pic:

Left to right: Bossche bol, oliebol, tompoes and stroopwafel.
