The Aesthetic Challenge || Chapter 0: Prologue

Hey! Welcome to a new blog!! :)

So, I've been playing the Decades Challenge save for a while now, and I wanted to start a new save file for when I'm bored of the DC and want to do something different.

I found this challenge on Pinterest and I thought it could be fun! It's a similar style to the Aesthetic Styles Legacy Challenge, which I played back in 2021 and it was my first post here. You can find the wiki here.

Anyway, let's get started! First, let me introduce you to the founder of the legacy:

This is Sage Everhart. She is a bookworm, family oriented and loves the outdoors. Her aspiration is to be a freelance botanist and she doesn't have a career, she just sells what she gathers from her garden and what she fishes. Her style is inspired by the cottage core aesthetic and she lives in Henford On Bagley, in a small cottage by the river.

Sage was born in a typical family, her parents wanted her to study, go to university and get a good job, they simply didn't consider that she would have other plans. She always loved nature and animals, she knew that she wanted to move to the countryside when she grew up and form a big and happy family.

When she finished high school, she told her parents that she was moving out and wanted to raise her own garden and make a living out of it. She had been saving up through part time jobs so she could buy a small cottage. They weren't expecting that, they thought the money was for university, so they were angry at first.

She was going to do it nonetheless, so they kind of accepted it, but they just couldn't understand why she would ruin her future like this. They haven't talked since.

Right now she is focusing on growing a nice garden and trying to raise her fishing skills. She enjoys reading and cooking, so she does that on her free time. She also likes learning about different cultures, so she is currently learning Toki Sulani, as she wants to travel there one day.

She would also love to adopt a cat in the near future and maybe have some more animals to take care of. She has also recently been diagnosed with general allergies, which will make it harder to tend to the garden, but it won't be an impediment to achieve her goals.
