:pisces: Zodiac Legacy Challenge, Pisces part 2! :pisces:

Zayn gets detention more times than he can count: for not doing homework, for skipping classes, for talking back, for pranking, it's never-ending. And every time it happens, his mother just piles up on him afterward. It's why he skips completely most days.

He also starts to get invited to college parties, where he meets all sorts of new people whose names he forgets after about five seconds. Despite being surrounded by so many potential friends, he fails to make any meaningful connections. He never stays long, as the strong music and weird lights make him feel deeply nauseous and tense

He fins hanging out with the club outside of school meetings way more fun though, as he enjoys their company. He finds out that Kaylee dreams of becoming a plus size movie star and bring some inclusivity to the industry, that Ricardo is the son of a famous businessman and hopes to make a name for himself and get out of his shadow through his art, that Morgan's sister actually really enjoys drawing with them and, finally, that Dante was adopted as a child and wishes to meet his biological parents, though it seems like they don't want to be found.

Being part of a group feels nice. He's always wanted friends, and he feels like the ones he found are very understanding of his issues with reading their emotions and tone of voice. And he's grateful that they understand his difficulties.

Desperate for love, he installs Cupid's Teen Corner (and regular Cupid's Corner) on his phone. He wouldn't mind meeting someone older, frankly, but he ends up matching with a boy his age named Dorian on a whim. Dorian is a cute kid, and Zayn enjoys being with him. He doesn't feel a strong connection, but he figures that it'll come sooner or later.

As for his school, it's always a bother. Once he stops being able to keep up completely, he starts to skip test days, too. It's just not worth it for him of he's going to fail them anyway.

But it's not long until he crosses a line.

He was suspended before, but he never let those punishments stop him. He just took those days as a chance to be lazy and paint. But being expelled is something entirely different. He won't be able to get a diploma and find a good job!

He will be Zayn the high school dropout! What kind of job would he even be allowed to get? Would he have to flip burgers all his life? Wluld he have to beg his parents to help him solve his financial issues? Would he ever be able to afford his own place at all? The thought of living with Camille all his life makes him shudder.

To make things worse, his parents are absolutely pissed. Everything about his behavior has come out all at once, and he knows it's hard to digest. Not even his father is on his side this time, and that's how it dawn on him: he fucked up, majorly.

Camille is stern, and she decrees that he's going to babysit in the morning and he will find a job in the evening. She says that she will not have him lounge around the house all day. Zayn frankly prefers the company of his little sister to that of his professors and schoolmates.

He does hate his new job, though frying and flipping burgers is better than serving clients at least.

However, as the dust starts to settle, he realizes that he is glad of how things went down. He suddenly has time to paint and money to spend, and he also makes a Social Bunny to post his art. He soon starts to receive commissions, which pay him more than his fast food shifts and are significantly more pleasant to deal with than customers and loud noises. So, after saving enough to buy a drawing tablet, he secretly quits his part-time and starts making money through his ion instead. He goes out as normal when he supposedly should be at work, instead going to the park to draw for four hours instead of being in a greasy and noisy fast food t.

Mimi starts going to high school not long after, and she too finds a way to disappoint Camille: she abandoned her childhood dream to be a vet in order to study thaumaturgy and burial. She is viscerally fascinated by the macabre and the occult, which Camille finds a waste of time.

That's also when little Taylor starts attending elementary school. The youngest of the three siblings is both a people's person and an animal lover, having seemingly taken the best out of her parents, and she adores her big brother due to how close to him she had gotten in the last few months of kindergarten
