Hollywood is making a movie. No, really. A big, grimy, neon-blooded, bullet-riddled crime epic—and they’re reaching out to you, one of the many lovely criminals, outlaws, and morally questionable individuals haunting Las Vegas.

They want inspiration.

But don’t get ahead of yourself—this isn’t about your story. In fact, the producer’s exact words were: “I don’t give a shit about your drama. I just want to know if you’ve got good taste in music.”

The producer is... eccentric. Half-coked, fully paranoid, and thinks everything’s better with a retro-synth overlay. He’s tasked you with building your movie soundtrack. If the movie were about your character, what would the album sound like? He’s looking for mood, violence, betrayal, betrayal with mood, you know, the whole cinematic shebang.

You’re required to make your soundtrack album. Bonus points if you give your “movie” a proper title — and extra credit if you give it a cover too.

Below are the prompts the producer provided:

– The song that plays during the opening scene/credits.

– The track for your first on-screen appearance.

– The sick track for the first epic fight scene.

– A song for your first love and the first heartbreak.

– A tune for the first time you broke the rules.

– Your comedic relief track/ringtone.

– The soundtrack following betrayal–either you have betrayed or have been betrayed.

– The sick track for another epic fight scene.

– A song for a vengeance kick/retribution

– A track that plays during a tragic moment

– The theme for your partner in crime.

– The soundtrack for your enemy.

– The song that plays during the ending scene credits.

GOVERNMENT SPECIFIC

– Your ringtone when a gang calls to “negotiate.”

– The theme for your public image vs your private panic.

– The elevator music as you descend into corruption.

– The soundtrack to a very public scandal.

– When you stare out your office window and wonder who will stab you next.

CITIZEN SPECIFIC

– The sound of trying to survive in a city that wants you dead.

– Your go-to song while eavesdropping and pretending not to.

– A lullaby for your kid as sirens scream outside.

– The soundtrack to the riots you accidentally ed.

– The anthem for your double shifts and back-alley side hustles.

GANG SPECIFIC

- The beat that hits when you walk into a room and everyone shuts up.

- A banger for your first kill... or the one that changed you.

- The music in your head while doing something real stupid—but worth it.

- A track for the homie who didn’t make it out of the scrapyard.

- Your anthem while riding dirty through enemy turf.

He kept rambling about some “short attention span” or something, so he only asks that you do 10 of the options he gave, and you are free to mix and match, plus whatever questions you’d like to add to your list. Though you gotta add the opening and ending soundtracks, it's not a proper movie if it doesn’t have those.
