Blogger tries art (kinda)

I'm not Picasso and I have no clue how to draw but feel free to absolutely roast me. I tried lmfao.

I drew over some Images of the characters since I really can't draw (that's totally not cheating), If you wanna see me start from scratch let me know in the comments.

I could've just posted the art but that's no fun so I'll explain a little about the random things I struggled with.

So, I tried to draw. The first dilemma was who to draw. Since I've got no idea how to draw I decided to go with Jigglypuff. She's my main and a circle, so it should be easy.

Yeah I was wrong.

I actually tried this before with Peach but on PICSART FOR SOME REASON... Yeah I'll link that Here.This time I decided to use Autodesk Sketchbook since I've heard good things about it.

I found it really hard to draw specific areas and fully fill some places, then I found out there are tools that help with that and you can also zoom in. This made it a little easier.

The other main issue I had was making a background. It looked too bland without one so I added colour and did some pokeball thing in the actual background. Oh and also layers or whatever they are were weird. I guess it's time to show you then

There was also issues with the "pencils" on the app. One started off faded which I didn't realise until half way through. Eventually I found a better one but it made this a lot harder than it needed to be.

Speaking of pencils, this is the one I used.

Ok seriously though I drew for a few hours with my finger and it actually started to hurt, so luckily I found a stylus pen thingie which I used for my next drawing.

For this next drawing I decided to do the blue Kirby, doing his down taunt. But before that I wondered how I could improve it, so I decided to watch a video about shading.

Another thing I wasn't too sure about was the background. It made it look more "basic" to me. For the Kirby drawing the background was something I also wanted to make better.

This is how it turned out.

The background was basic, but I think it's a bit better. I really like how the eyes turned out, but the shading and that stuff was really hard and I don't really like how it looks. The actual part or Kirby was decent but the shoes didn't really go well.

I'm going to do one more, this time drawing someone a bit harder: Squirtle. The goal is to only use shading if I think it looks good, since I'm not good at it at all. Then again I never draw so I'm bad at everything lmao.

Also I had to make some parts of this one myself and stray away from the image a tiny bit so It was harder. I also did the pokeballs without using images.

In total this took like 2 days idk how lmao.

Welp that's all the art I did. Like I said I might try doing my own poses and not use a picture to help next time, but that's gonna take years because I don't know how to draw faces or anything normally so uuuuhhhhh...
