Darth Vader s the Battle!

Hello! This is another moveset by LinkMainNess14! Today (more like this week), I will be deg a moveset for Darth Vader, the main antagonist of the STAR WARS original trilogy.

Height: 11th, below Samus

Weight: 115, inbetween Charizard and Ganon

Run Speed: Inbetween Ike and Samus

Jump Height: Around as high as Capt. Falcon

Jumps: 2

Wall Jump: No

Crawl: No

Playstyle: Agressive, Zoner

Strengths: Damage, Knockback, Projectile

Weaknesses: Speed, Landing Lag

Darth Vader won't have the best range, because he always keeps his lightsaber close to his body.

All of Darth Vader's lightsaber attacks have a fire effect like Roy's attacks.

Side Taunt: Vader clenches his fist as he says " the Dark Side"

Up Taunt: Vader laughs menacingly as he ingites his lightsaber and spreads out like Ganon's up taunt

Down Taunt: "I Am Your Father", Vader says as his breathes deeply.

Entrance: Darth Vader flies onto the stage in his personal TIE-Fighter.

-Jab Combo-

Darth Vader slashes his lightsaber 3 times in front of him.

-Side Tilt-

Darth Vader lunges forward, swinging his lightsaber to the right, just like how he killed Obi-Wan.

-Up Tilt-

Darth Vader swings his lightsaber in an arc above his head. This behaves like Link's up tilt but is slower and stronger.

Darth Vader swings his lightsaber across the floor.

-Dash Attack-

Darth Vader lunges forward using Force Speed, slashing his lightsaber.

~----Special Moves----~

-Neutral Special: Dark Side-

Darth Vader extends his arm to use the force. If you just press and hold B, he will do a force choke.

And the gimmick is here!

You can use the force in any of the D-Pad directions. Here is what every direction does:

If you flick right (>) you will send out a red windbox doing 2% damage.

If you flick left (<) You will have a windbox pull whoever Darth Vader is controlling to him, kind of like a tether grab.

If you flick up ( :arrow_up: ) Darth Vader will throw them into the air.

If you flick down ( :arrow_down: ) Vader will slam them into the ground, or if they're in the air, force them into the blast zone.

-Side Special: Lightsaber Throw-

Vader throws his lightsaber in a twirly twirl motion. You could use this for defense or whatever. (Spamming). But this image I found on Google shows exactly what this attack would do.

-Up Special: Force Levitate-

Vader glides upward using the Force. It goes in a similar way to Corrin's up B. It can spike under him because of the blast of force beneath Vader. After reaching the peak of the move, Vader fastly glides back down.

Similar to Corrin's up B

Down Special: Stormtroopers

Vader holds down B similar to Zelda's phantom or Olimar's pikmin to charge up a squad of stormtroopers. When all 4 are summoned, they all attack the nearest player or spread out. Here is what they all do:

1. A standard shooter, does not jump off the ledge or physically attack the opponent.

2. Waits for the opponent to be hit off the stage, and then tackles both of them into the blast zone

3. A standard shooter, but rolls around and stays low. Does not jump off the ledge or physically attack the opponent

4. Sometimes shoots, but mainly just physically hits the opponent off-stage

They all have 10 HP and their blasters do 2% damage.

Final Smash: Death Star

(Cinematic Final Smash)

The Death Star appears in the background as Darth Vader flies away in his personal TIE Fighter. The animation starts. We see Vader point to a planet as the Death Star charges its beam and destroys it. That planet was the stage, as we see an explosion on the stage when the animation ends. Vader flies back to the stage in his personal TIE Fighter.

Does 100% damage

-Neutral Air-

Darth Vader swings his lightsaber around his whole body.

-Forward Air-

Darth Vader swiftly slashes his lightsaber in front of him through the air.

-Back Air-

Darth Vader pushes backwards with the force. This has a windbox and can also help with horizontal recovery.

Darth Vader swings his lightsaber in an arc over his head, definitely a kill move.

Darth Vader force pushes you downward, its a spike.

Darth Vader hits twice, the first hit looking like Roy's first hit of his side smash. The second hit looks like the second hit of Link's forward smash.

Darth Vader stabs his lightsaber upward into the sky. He pulls opponents closer to him so that this attack must hit.

-Down Smash-

Darth Vader destroys the ground around him, sending the opponent directly up.

Grab: Grabs you like a force choke.

-Pummel-

Darth Vader clenches the neck of his victim

3% damage

-Forward Throw-

Darth Vader throws the victim a short distance forward. This could lead to a lightsaber throw combo.

7% damage

-Back Throw-

Darth Vader chucks the victim backwards with the force.

6% damage

-Up Throw-

Darth Vader throws the victim upward with his robotic, cybernetic arms. Could lead to up air kill.

-Down Throw-

Darth Vader just simply drops the victim to the floor. As they drop, you could do whatever move you desire. Most likely up tilt strings. Or you could kill. Combo throw.
