(I know this is old and don't know if you ever got it working or not.) SSF2 only s Mayflash controller adapters. They're easy plug & play without having to random drivers and mess around with it for hours. I highly reccomend picking one up if you don't have one already.
You need a Gamecube adapter for a pc. Then your pc will probably detect your controller
You need a port, if you don't have it, you can't use the gcc
Get the application joy2key it will use mouse and keyboard inputs and input them using g your controller
