With the most recent Nintendo Direct being mostly WiiU ports, it's becoming increasingly more likly that Smash 4 will be ported to the Switch in the not-so-distant future. After all, it's probably the best-selling game on the underperforming WiiU. Why not port it? So, based on the sort of changes made to other Switch ports, and what we'vs seen with Smash on the past, here's yet another prediction for Smash 4 Switch.

Again this is not based on some fanboy's pipedream of what I WANT. This is me trying to make balanced, metered guesses as to what will most likely happen based on what has already happened.
1
3DS + WiiU
It will likely be a fusion of the 3ds and Wii U, Like Hyrule Warriors is doing. So all the platform-exclusive features of both will be condensed into one game. So all the Stages, Trophies, 8-player Smash, Smash Run, Smash Tour, the whole works.

Balance patches
They've had enough time to take a look at the current balance, see what's off, and make the necessary adjustments. And it's my understanding that Sakurai wants the game to be as fair and balanced as possible. So don't get too comfy Bayonetta and Cloud. #BuffThePuff

New characters
We've seen Mario Kart 8, Pokken, and DKC Tropical Freeze add new playable characters, and in a game like Smash, it's practically a given. It will likely add no less than 2 (which would bring the total number of unique fighters to an even 60) but no more than 4 (which would bring the total number of character slots to an even 60). As far as my predictions go, I'll try to be optimistically realistic, listing, again, not merely who I WANT in Smash, but who I think is REALISTICALLY more likely:
The first two characters will probably be the following:
Ice Climbers - because they already had them working in a prototype of the Wii U version.
Inkling - because Splatoon is like, crazy popular, especially in Japan.
And based on all the the Fire Emblem characters, that's the only thing that matters.
And if there are more than two, the others could likely be any two of the following:
Spring Man or another Arms Character
Rex (Xenoblade Chronicles 2)
The Alledged Smash Ballot Runner-Up (whoever that is)
Somebody mind-blowing that nobody expected or bothered considering a possibility
But let's all be real here, it will probably just be the Gen 8 biped edgelord starter Pokemon and yet another Fire Emblem character.

Custom moves and Palutena's Guidance
I was actually disappointed that they didn't give the DLC characters those extra little flourishes. But I think it's reasonable to think that they might add it for all new and previously DLC characters since they have the time and opportunity.
5
GameCube Controller
With increasingly more credible rumors of GameCube Virtual Console, it's possible that Nintendo will add GameCube controller to accommodate, probably via USB adaptor again. If that's the case, adding GC compatability is more than nescesary for Smash. This is probably the most uncertain of all of these though.
Now one thing I don't expect them to add is a story mode. They might, it's possible, but extremely unlikely. I mean, one of the biggest complaints about Mario Kart 8 was the lack of a Battle Mode, and they added that in MK8 Deluxe. And one of the biggest complaints about Smash 4 is the lack of Adventure Mode. So maybe, but I wouldn't count on it.
Thanks for reading. What do you think? Do you agree? Am I an idiot? I hope you enjoyed it.

I expect all characters to have their Guidelines
