Good afternoon, Smash Amino! I have time to post another blog today.
Now that we have everyone available in the first Fighters , I feel that now is a good time to show some drawings of them. Like before, I will include both the fighter's standard costume and my favorite recolor of them. Let's get started.

This is the first time I drew Joker, leader of the Phantom Thieves of Heart. While drawing him was easier than expected, I feel that the mask and legs could have been done better. Similarly, his knife is a bit off. Making the blue costume was trickier than I thought...

Of all the DLC fighters so far, Hero was one of the hardest for me to draw. You'll notice that his colors are more solid and basic. The blade and shield especially took some time...
Even harder to do was Solo. Again, his colors are basic, but making his fancy-looking shield and ornate sword was time-consuming. I think that both Heroes look okay; I should have made Solo look less angry at Luminary.

Due to their cartoonish design, Banjo-Kazooie was easier for me to doodle. I made some liberties in my style, namely in giving Banjo a simpler face. Kazooie normally lives in Banjo's backpack, but I have her standing separately in this pic; she does most of the dirty fighting work anyway.

While Banjo and Kazooie aren't normally so large, their picture takes up a lot of space. Thus, I made the recolor a separate photo. This was very easy to do.

To be frank, I am surprised that I drew Terry Bogard quickly. I have been drawing for much of my 28-year-old life, but I don't see myself as a "master". Muscular characters in particular are not the easiest for me to work on...🤔
Fortunately, Terry has a simple set of colors. Doing his green costume was fairly easy.

Being a Fire Emblem fighter with ornate details and realistic proportions, Byleth Eisner was given a much more cartoony look in my style. His outfit was given less fancy accessories. I don't think that Byleth fans will like the way I drew him.
His Dimitri costume was one of the easiest to recolor, though.

"Mack, what are you doing? Min Min is in Fighters vol. 2!"
...Yes, Min Min is fresh out of the oven as the first pick in Fighter 2, but I decided to draw her anyway just for fun.
Her look is rather complex, so I drew her before the other DLC fighters here. Getting down the design of her noodle arm was tough. The dragon arm was easier in comparison, but I should have drawn its head. I botched the look of the Chinese character on her shirt...

Like Banjo-Kazooie, I took the liberty of making my favorite Min Min color a separate pic. Changing the colors was delightfully simple.
And there we have it! I have now drawn pictures of every playable fighter in Super Smash Bros. up until now. Brilliant!!
'Course, there are five more characters waiting in the wings to round out Fighters vol. 2. I'll figure out what I want to do in regards to drawing them...
