So I love this place, I visit everyday and I try to be very active for the few responsibilities I have, but why is it, that whenever I go through the latest feed, OR EVEN FEATURED, I have to be weary of
SPOILERS
from a 40+ hour game.
(I'm talking about World of Light)
LITERALLY, a post using a image of the FINAL BATTLE as it's THUMBNAIL was FEATURED, so when I went onto Amino, and clicked Smash, I do not want to have to cover the screen with my hand and get to the latest feed or friends or whatever, JUST TO NOT BE SPOILED!!!
Listen, I don't mean to sound agro, I just want there to be some spoil rule addressed to the public, tons of other Aminos, and ones that don't even have a story, have some rule saying that for posts containing spoilers, to not be taken down, it must require:
*the first three images
*title of post
*and showing text
To not contain spoilers or else the post will be taken down.
As well as the title having a big ol' SPOILERS at the beginning of it.
Listen, I just want to enjoy this place and there not being anything about spoilers anywhere in the guidelines (Yes I checked), is really annoying me and tainting my, and many others, experience with thus otherwise amzing place.
So please, if any one high up, like a curator or leader, sees this post, make something about spoilers. Whether that be an important post, new part of the guidelines, or both, not just I, but MANY people would appreciate it.
I've been Contos, please don't feature blatant end-game spoilers, and...
Bye

Idea a spolier alert section
I mean WOL isn’t Infinity War. There’s nothing to revealing about it other than a certain thing that happens.
If it was the first few days then you have an extremely valid point.
However, its been over a month. We can't exactly protect s from spoilers forever. Its also unfair to all the s that want to create feature worthy content while talking about the game just because some s haven't played it yet.
If you won't have the game for awhile but want to stay active on amino then you knowingly and constantly run that risk and we as s can't be expected to shelter you or others either when its the internet
Shielding s from spoilers is still a completely viable option and allowing a post with spoilers will only create complaints. A part of your job is to feature content suitable for s, and a month after release simply is not enough time. An incredibly quick solution would be to ask the to add a spoiler warning or change the thumbnail before featuring. A change like this will help prevent this again.

A month is more than enough time. I can't really force them to change anything and if you really, truly, want to avoid spoilers you'd avoid amino and other places where you would potentially encounter spoilers.
We'd advise peeps to censor spoilers before in the past for many occasions, especially before a feature, but after some time we can't obligate people to censor after some period of time. For Directs, like a day and a half was sufficient. For something like WoL, at least until after Christmas was a good amount of time.
Why care about wol spoilers? Its not exactly trying to hide plot points or anything.

Just beat it first... Or dont be surprised when people use pictures of a famous at release boss battle a month after it came out.

Well that's just the thing, im not suprised that its being posted. But the ideals of, "just beat it already you baby" is flawed, and what about people that haven't gotten the game yet

The thing is... Smash isnt a story focused game... So I'd be surprised if wanting to avoid spoilers didnt put you in the minority.
