Smash Moveset #26: Hazama Part 1 (Normals)

Bio: While you wouldn't expect much from an ordinary NOL Intelligence member, Hazama is anything BUT ordinary. His calm and friendly demeanor hides a sadistic personality bent of causing harm to others just for fun. He was formerly a vessel for an evil spirit out to destroy, but even after their separation, nothing about Hazama has changed. He still cuts his foes down with knives. He still uses his Nox Nyctorus, Ouroboros, to grapple opponents and traverse large distances with ease. He's still a backstabbing snake.

Normals

Jab

Back-handed punch into forward knee.

F-Tilt

Dual knife slash.

U-Tilt

Stylish upward knife slash.

D-Tilt

Sweeping knife slash.

F-Smash

Venom Sword. Has decent range and isn't a projectile.

U-Smash

Houtenjin. Gains a serious damage increase at full charge, and causes Hazama to briefly vanish, making him immune to attacks until he reappears.

D-Smash

Crush Trigger. Can spike if performed close enough to an opponent.

Dash Attack

Knife slash out of a dash.

N-Air

Aerial 5-hit knife combo. Can cancel any hit before the 5th into another aerial attack or an air jump. Air jumping will not reset the N-Air combo.

F-Air

Decently ranged forward kick.

B-Air

Wind Serpent's Kick. Can spike like most backwards spiking kick moves.

U-Air

2nd hit of Terumi's Divine Twin Blades Distortion.

D-Air

Shadow Serpent. Can spike if opponent is hit at the start of Hazama's descent, but since this is a falling attack, spiking isn't recommended unless above a platform.

F-Throw

Hazama roundhouse kicks the opponent forward.

B-Throw

Hazama positions the opponent behind him before kicking them away.

U-Throw

Hazama performs his Bloody Fangs command grab, launching the opponent upward.

D-Throw

Hazama performs Terumi's Forward Throw from Blazblue, tripping the opponent and kicking them against the ground, bouncing them off it at low height.
