The Hero is Out!

Hello, Super Smash Bros. fans. How are things going on this Friday?

A couple of days ago, the Hero from Dragon Quest arrived as the newest DLC for Ultimate. He's certainly a fun fighter with his beefy sword, Link-styled shield, and crazy RNG down special. Down below is my favorite costume for the character.

Hero: Blue Solo skin

As a first for third-party characters, the Hero's alternate outfits are themed after different protagonists from the Dragon Quest series. This one here is a recolored Solo, designed after the hero in the first Dragon Quest.

While DQ isn't my kind of series, I like how the Hero's costumes call back to other characters. I am also a fan of alt character skins in general, similar to Bowser Jr. and Olimar. Other good costumes are the standard Solo, Eight, Eleven (or Luminary), and both Arusu (or Erdrick) designs.
