Top 10 Favorite Smash Attacks

Probably one of your favorite moves to use in Smash 4 is a Smash attack. Or you if play Little Mac and Cloud, it is essentially second nature to you. Smash attacks are generally some of the strongest moves in the game. So I am going to rank my 10 favorite Smash attacks.

**Opinion Warning**

10. Ike's Up Smash

One of the slowest up smashes in the game, Ike's up Smash can be considered to be one of the worst moves in the game. But it has one of the best hitboxes in the game due to Ike's range and dist. It can punish rolls and get reads really well. It can reach ledges and kill very early. Up Smash is Ike's best smash attack, which makes it all the more useful.

9. Robin's Forward Smash

Personally, I just like this move. While Robin can have some better punishes, if you are looking for something simple this is your go-to move. It is a fine Kill move to win a game and feels satisfying if you get a read with the move.

8. Pit/Dark Pit's Forward Smash

This move is really fast and is two hit. This move has great range, speed, power, and shield pressure. It kills really early for such a great move. This move is a lot more easy to land rather than down and up Smash. This move helps out a lot with killing the opponent especially if you cannot take a stock with another move.

7. Peach Up Smash

I actually do not enjoy this move as much as the other moves mentioned previously. But when I play Peach, I spam this move so much. It is great for punishes and stopping landing attempts. It is fast and is strongest at the tip. This move is surprisingly effective in general. And it is a lot more consistent than Peach's other Smash attacks.

6. Rosalina's Up Smash

This smash attack is probably going to invalidate this list. You probably really hate this move a lot. Not because of Rosalina specifically, but Luma. Luma is really strong and powerful. The attack is quick and has a kill setup. Grab release into up Smash is a true combo. The move is great for punishes and reads. This is one of Rosalina's best moves to finish the opponent.

5. Kirby's Forward Smash

Quick and with power. While it lacks range, it is great for killing and reads. It has lower endlag then a general smash attack. This move can finish off any weight which makes it all the better.

4. Little Mac's Up Smash

You know this would not be an accurate list without a Little Mac Smash attack. This move screams "good." It is a great option for Little Mac. Quick, great for reads, and one of the best in the game.

3. Lucina's Forward Smash

Consistent and strong. In my opinion, it is way more enjoyable to land than Marth's because you don't need to be perfect with this move.

It has a setup off of jab and is incredibly fast. One Lucina'a best moves overall, and one of the best in the game.

2. Lucas's Down Smash

This was one of my favorite moves to use at the ledge in Brawl. This move could destroy anyone. This move has ridiculous power and that is all it needs to be one of my favorites.

1. Roy's Forward Smash

My favorite smash attack to land. I consider it one of the best punish moves in the game. If you make a mistake at the ledge, you can guarantee yourself that you will not return. Roy is such a great character and this makes him all the better. From the start, I could tell that this move is amazing.
