That could be really interesting because his self damage is a big con of his because it makes the fact that he's the lightest character in the game way more noticeable so i could see it being a good thing for pichu but it gets rid of his charm in my opinion

It would kind of ruin his gimmick. I think his electric moves should continue to damage himself, but some of his electric moves would be replaced with not electric moves which would not damage him. For example, his pummel could be changed to a plain headbutt.
