Persona oc

Not fanfic, but I need to share the art my girlfriend did for a persona oc I made.

Her name is Sarako Takeda and I made her for a rp discord server I ed recently. The plot is fairly unconnected from the canon of p5, but it’s gonna borrow a lot of the mechanics and style

And all that is just preamble because honestly I’m just here to talk about how cool my girlfriend is. There’s no one better alive, actually, because she took some poorly edited picrews I made, and a photo of a butterfly I like, and made literally the perfect alt outfit known to man.

She only charged me the rate of one (1) Wendy’s lunch too

Okay so for anyone still here, here’s the character info

Her name is Sarako Takeda

(I spent ages googling Japanese names and this was the best combo I found lol)

She’s the head journalist on a student run newspaper that’s published by the university. She’s working towards an internship at a major publication, so she’s been working incredibly hard to make sure the university is happy with her work and are willing to set her up with the connections.

She grew up with an intense love of learning, and that included being fairly nosy about other people. So, a large amount of the things she publishes do tend to infringe on other people’s privacy, but she’s got a genuine hunger for the truth buried under the gossip-mongering.

Her family are fairly wealthy, but never saw her as good enough, eventually even lying to her school and saying she was adopted to distance themselves from the embarrassment she posed them. The rumour followed her for years as a reminder that perfection is the only way to avoid heartbreak, and as tangible proof that the person who controls the narrative has the power. So, she cut her parents off, moved away for university, and started working on being the person in control of the media so nobody would hear anything she didn’t personally approve.

She works part time jobs alongside her media course and her newspaper responsibilities. She hasn’t had a hobby since she was a child, and she doesn’t realise most people keep them after growing up.

The pic is for the alternative outfit - the one she’ll wear when summoning her persona. In this rp the theme is actors instead of thieves, so it’s maskless :3

Anyway that’s all I’ve gotta say, it’s not a very aesthetic post ik but my gf did a nice thing for me and I wanna tell the world
