Hello, this is Kaidou Ren Izumi, co-leader of the small but revived Art Squad with my submission for this prompt. A few things to mention before I begin (as these were things with the old art squad):
•even though hashtags don’t work (for some reason), if posts are related to the Art Squad, it’s HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to add #ArtSquad
•because hashtags don’t work, posts related to the Art Squad should be in the Art Squad category (Edit Squad has one for themselves as well):

NOTE: Any art posts NOT related to the Art Squad should NOT be in there! There is a separate category titled PhanArt:

To add a post in a category, edit the post and click on the Categories section (I’ll be using mine for demonstration purposes). Note that you can only choose two at a time:

Now, onto the actual prompt:

So I decided to draw my OC Maaron and add a floral background to replicate a certain scene from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 (below):

The reason why is because I wanted to brush up on something from Futaba’s Palace. Supposedly, Futaba herself was the Treasure inside the coffin. Imagine if Futaba hadn’t awaken to her Persona. Perhaps she (her cognitive self) would be in the coffin and the Phantom Thieves would somehow retrieve/steal her from the coffin just like with any other Treasure. As to what the Treasure would look like…I’ve no idea. Probably something that was from Wakaba’s funeral (that Sojiro got for her)?
Ok, now I get that it would make more sense to draw Futaba instead of my OC. However, with work and other projects that I’m trying to finish ASAP, I’m just using this, as anything could happen with an OC…even look like a tanned-out Futaba with her hair cut short:

Now, with all the other stuff:
Name: Kaidou Ren Izumi
My types of genres would be adventure with a bit of action, with a mix of comedy and drama, and some slice of life. In this case, it’s more drama-themed. (The gist of this is that she’s in a “severe sleeping sickness” aka comatose.)
•I have been drawing since…middle school? So for a decade or more.
•I prefer to draw traditionally (paper and pencil, with some ink pens for line art purposes).
•As for my art style, I noticed that I prefer to draw women (so long as they aren’t busty) than men…up to their top halves, and I prefer to draw them from the front than the back or sides.
•I like how I don’t exactly have a permanent style. While most might see it as a bad thing, I think it shows how adaptable I am, especially with the prompts.
•I’d like to improve on human anatomy and facial expressions so that I could create the works that I have in mind.
•Do This In Your Style—DTIYS. (We draw something an artist has made in our own style.) I’ve been wanting to try my hand at something like that for quite some time.
•Inspirations: Well, it would be nice if I could teach (via tips and tricks) artists how things work in the art world—commissions, shop, events affecting artists, etc. Not everything is taught in a formal setting, sadly.
