What crazes me

Is not the light of the moon,

nor the golden sea,

But merely the trickle of your tears.

For those wondering who this is, this is Yumi from Persona 4 (Golden) aka the other route to the Sun Arcana. I actually knew of her first before Ayane from That Dude Jay from the Kubz Scouts, who did a blind LP of the OG P4. From what I could gather from this video analysis of her, she was borderline professional as an actress in the Drama Club as a way to escape from her “role” with her family, namely the dying father.

What she says above is a part of the play that she got the lead role in. Regarding the “borderline professional actress” part, it’s more like she BECOMES the character that she’s supposed to act.

Unfortunately, Yumi’s confidant route focuses less on her acting and more on her path to forgiveness, to the point where she quits the Drama Club to pursue other things in life. Which, personally, is a little disappointing, but it’s something that appeals to certain audiences, I suppose.
