I am wondering how long should a snake be handled? I have handled my snake for 10 to 15 minutes, is that too long? Or is it okay?
Does the handle time change depending on how old the snake is?

I usually pay attention to their body language. As long as they are stil actively investigating and flicking the tongue, they are usually fine. When they just pick a spot and lay there, I would put them back in their enclosure
Okay, thanks for the information. :3
I sometimes handle my snakes for hours. Even forgot that they were outside, fell asleep and woke up to them crawling on top of me, the sofa or being cuddled up around me to absorb my body warmth.
I'd say important is that the snake won't freeze while it's outside. My snakes will then sometimes lay on my heat blanket or on top of a towel which lays on the heater.
(My sofa is right beside to the heater and they usually never leave that area).
I usually put them back when I see them being uneasy or stressed though. So I'd say read your snake and they'll be fine.
It's like having a little walk in the park for them. And I also consider it as enrichment or workout.
I even know a person who let's her snake roam around freely whenever it wants and it works out really well for her.
Thanks. :3
It really depends on your snake and how they’re feeling. I don’t handle my snake too often but when I do it varies really. If I see my snake is getting stressed and a bit restless I put him back, but if he is enjoying where he is I keep him out for a little longer. I just wouldn’t keep them out for hours since they can get cold.
And handling everyday is not good either, just because the stress it can cause
Thanks for the information. :3

Right!? ;D

Yea they’re really awesome lol
Some people say they should never be handled I say handle as much as you want till the point you notice the snake is getting stressed, if you don’t know if it’s stressed it’s not I would say!
Okay thanks. ^^
