🕸 :skull: OCS x HELLUVA BOSS | Art Style Crossover :skull: 🕸

P1: LUCIFER + PIERCE

:warning: regarding the results of my last poll, i understand this came last and the ship art of Morbidia x Voltaire won, and while i do want to respect that and that piece will come out very soon, i've been dealing with really intense art block and mental health spirals lately and drawing my ocs was genuinely the only thing i could put any energy and focus into, hence the long hiatus i've taken this past month. i'm sorry to those who may be disappointed with my choice to override the poll, but at the end of the day, i just want to draw things that make me happy.

☆ so, all that aside, i wanted to try something extremely self-indulgent (like i do with most of my art, big whoop), so i had this idea to draw what my ocs would look like in different art styles or universes, particularily Helluva Boss. the series may not be perfect, but it certainly does something to my brain, it locks my mind in a very strong chokehold every so often and i find myself returning to it on repeat.

☆ this is just going to be a small series where i draw my main six OCs, in pairs of two, as different types of demons within the hellaverse, as well as trying to mimic the art style and aesthetic of the show. here are the reasons why i chose these particular demons for these two characters!

☆ starting off with LUCIFER: Lucifer is depicted here as a fish demon from the Envy Ring. while Lucifer's represented deadly sin is Wrath in my own canon, Lucifer also struggles very heavily with his upbringing, role in society, and sense of identity, often feeling like a "fish out of water" everywhere he goes, never quite fitting in or belonging anywhere, and struggling to communicate and interact with others. he wishes his life was different, that there wasn't this invisible wall seperating him from everyone else. along with his blue, black, and electric yellow colour palette and various parts of his design that i felt fit very well, that's why i chose this aquatic, demonic form for him.

☆ PIERCE: Pierce is depicted here as an incubus, or trans male succubus, from the Lust Ring. Pierce is a character fuelled by his devotion to others, both bad and good. From growing up orphaned and forced into servitude to his grandmother, to finding a circle of tight-knit friends he could truly be himself around, Pierce has since devoted his loyalty, love, and ion to people he doesn't fear will hurt him. He's intensely affectionate and obsessed with his angsty blue haired boyfriend, stone cold trad goth meister, and other wonderfully strange friends, and his flirty nature and devilish good looks fit right at home in the ring of Asmodeus.
