Main Analysis

The RBP has alot of range. In the Testing Area, it covers 5 lines with one shot. In Online Mode, you can use this to eliminate chargers and other squids that are on high spaces.

However, if that weapon is a shooter, then keep your distance: the RBP isn't too effective in close combat. Additionally, shooters have a better fire rate than blasters, and don't have a substantial amount of ink consumption each shot. Although, with a particular sub weapon, you can get around this.

Toxic Mist

Toxic Mist is usually used to lower opponents' ink supply if they are in it. However, it is also useful in close combat. Port Mackerel can get you tons of kills and points of you play the Toxic Mist right. Campers that wait behind corners can be pushed out with Toxic Mist, and if they chase you down an alley, throw one down, and start shooting. Be wary though, because they also can still shoot while in the mist. Chargers can also snipe you in the mist.

This method is pretty limited to long, narrow spaces in maps, but it is quite effective if you need to take out that one camper who is bothering your team.

Gear

Let's talk about gear. Because the RBP takes alot of your ink, Ink Saver Main is a good ability to have. Ink Saver Sub is also a good ability, due to the fact you could be using a lot of Toxic Mist to trap enemies in, and you want to eliminate them quickly without having to refill your tank in the process.

If you like more of a defensive playstyle, Special Power Up and Swim Speed Up are good options; imagine you are in a sticky situation, where players have forced you out of a safe zone, and you have two options. Either stand your ground and kill the player, only to get splatted by players behind him, or flee down a path behind you, and try to splat him as he chases you. Swim Speed Up allows quick getaways when necessary.

Additionally, the RBP can make a very good comeback when your team are in trouble. Ink Storm has good coverage, and with Special Power Up, you get a slight time extension. Not as effective as the Swim Speed Up, but useful nevertheless.

In conclusion, I think the Rapid Blaster Pro is a very effective weapon, that can be used in a few ways depending on your playstyle. I'd definitely recommend it for Tower Control and Splat Zones, due to its great blast radius and the Ink Storm special.
