Spring Roll Tournament

Hello everyone!

The moderation team is excited to announce an tournament! The Spring Roll Tournament! (Get it cause spring rolls are a type of seafood and rollers- okay I’ll take a walk to my corner now).

This will be more of a casual setting, so think of this like a scrim tournament type. There will still be prizes provided! This is more of a testing ground so we can finally have a solid way of hosting future tournaments. Please bare with us as we are also learning as a team. We also apologize that it took us this long, but we finally found a time where it is convenient for most people. We wanted to inform the community of our plans as well as recruiting streamers so we know in advance.

Our target dates are:

• Feb. 24th

Streamer Volunteer Form

We are currently looking for volunteers to stream the tournament! This will be a Splatoon 2 tournament since we wanted people who are not participating in the tournament to be able to spectate it via stream. The rules are still a work in progress, so there will be changes to it over time.

General Rules:

• Team of 4 required

• Deadline will be two days before the tournament starts

• Minimum wait time as soon as the match starts is 5 minutes, NO EXCEPTIONS. We do not want another disaster where people stayed for hours waiting for a clan.

Disconnection Rules:

• Screenshot NEEDS to be provided as soon as the player disconnects, please send it to one of the s, of the affected team must provide a screenshot of the time they disconnect so we can see the timer

• Re-matches are allowed when disconnected before the 1:30 minute mark

• There will only be a 5 minute grace period, only 2 disconnections are allowed

• The reasons for this is to keep long period waiting times, it is not fair if people wait an hour or so for a team.
