What are Your Thoughts on Splatoon 3D Animated Movie?

I just came from watching Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and I just have to say that that series of films is starting up a new generation of awesome movie adaptations of videogames! That in mind, long ago, I thought that the animation they used to make Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's cutscenes would be perfect for fully animated Nintendo movies. I believe a theatrical Splatoon motion picture would be captured quite well in the animation style! What is your stance on the kind of animation it could use? And aside from that, how else do you think a cinematic Splatoon movie would be executed as far as characters, settings, and story elements?

id find it super creepy esp if it was like the sonic movies where its live action with animated realistic-ish versions of the characters but i also think that a splatoon movie has potential to add on to the lore, but i think an anime style movie would be the coolest

I see. It would look cool for Splatoon to go the anime route. The problem, though, may be the ink and how it is displayed. It would most definitely look strange if animated in 2D, which is why I believe 3D CGI is the better way to animate the ink. However, the issue with that may be that it would be very off-putting if that were the only CG thing in an otherwise fully 2D animated film. That is why I believe a Splatoon film should be full-fledged CGI so that nothing really sticks out. Don't worry, it doesn't need anything live-action. Every single structure would be rendered in CGI! As for lore... I'll have more to say another time.
