Because I'll Always Be With You

This post is a Shoutout to one of my favorite franchises ever:

Kingdom Hearts!

When I was introduced to this series as a child, it was by one of my best friends of that time over a decade ago. I was over at her place, because I was always over at her place. And right in the middle of one of our gaming sessions (Okage, another beautiful game), this dear friend of mine looked over at me, grinned, and said those for words that could excite any seven-year-old,

"Wanna see something cool?"

And boom. Bam. I was introduced to my first love.

She was right, it was the coolest game I had ever played. And when KH2 came out not /too/ very long after, I bought it right away. Full price, my own hard earned cash. My official first Kingdom Hearts game of my own.

I played it through once, with a cousin always on standby to help with the hard bosses. Then I played it again. And again. And over the years, I collected each new game as it came out, often right away.

My love for this game has made me many amazing friends over the years, it's what prompted me to start role-playing, it's what game me my name (Xairi). I can't imagine what my life would have been like if I hadn't been introduced to it all those years ago, to that goofy boy with the dangerously spiky hair and his vibrant adventures.

So I am more than happy to say, now,

Favorite Kingdom Hearts character?

Gotta be little Vani~

Favorite boss fight?

That final battle with Xigbar in KH2 will always be my favorite.

Ruler of the sky, as well. I just enjoyed redoing this boss too much. xD So it deserves an honorable mention as my second favorite boss.

Least favorite boss fight?

Larxene, Chain of Memories. I still get nightmares of her laugh sometimes. /shudder

Favorite enemy?

Dragoon. *-* The design is just so...yes.

Favorite world?

Timeless River. Such a cute and quirky world, I often found myself revisiting it.

Twilight Town as well, I found myself wandering around that town and riding that little mini train just too much. xD

Least favorite world?

Olympus coliseum. In every game. I greatly dislike spending so much time there. "-"

Favorite keyblade?

Hidden Dragon. Something about the design just feels right to me.

Favorite from the OST?

Somewhere between Kairi's theme, Xion's theme, and Axel and Roxas.

Favorite battle music?

Cause I feel this deserves a question of it's own: Scherzo De Notte.
