Greetings one and all! Welcome to my latest art blog! Today, I bring you one of Viev’s many many siblings. Kak’lune- a 16 year old who fancies herself a mechanic, engineer, and general menace to society.

As I mentioned with Viev, this is for a Star Wars 5e game, that if all goes to plan we will be having our first session of tomorrow (my Monday evening).

Another recycled pose from another of my dnd characters- so the part where it was my Tabaxi/tiefling is sped up, while the twi’lek half is at normal Timelapse replay speed.

When I was first making Viev I wasn’t sure what color I wanted to make her… I grabbed a bunch of pallets all relating to a theme I wanted to apply to her…. And then proceeded to use none of them….

If you the time lapses in my last blog- she was bouncing between a lot of colors often… those were those pallets…. However, despite using none of them- I noticed a happy coincidence…. The left over colors matched the number of siblings she was supposed to have (or one of the options, the other calling for one more). So… I decided not to waste them.

You might notice the pallet sitting behind her for a decent chunk of the replay. Ideally- if this all goes to plan, each twi’lek is going to be one or more of those colors. (I plan on doing some multi colors for patterns and such, to make them all look more like siblings.)

For Kak’lune, I decided to also give her a little of Viev’s coloring on her lekku. Originally it was going to be a green… buuuut…. When trying different colors I left the canvas…. And couldn’t undo the making it purple…. And trying to make it green again, messed with the pink since they were on the same layer…. So purple it is…. Heh….

Kak’lune may or may not end up being an NPC that stays with the party/on their ship. Likely as a stowaway… I won’t know for certain until she shows up. But of the information the DM and I have agreed on so far, is that because she is only 16, and very much plays up having a childish nature… she hasn’t been viewed as someone who helps run the crime family yet.

Which is something she wants to take full advantage of. However, being 16, she does worry about things. She does have opinions, often very strong ones, which she knows could get her in trouble…. Which is why she likes to go running to her big sis… neither Viev nor Mama would let anything bad happen to her, not if they could help it.

In general, Kak’lune is, and enjoys being a menace. Her favorite hobbies are taking things apart and seeing what new ways she can reassemble them in. For it, she is a bit of a wiz when it comes to assorted types of hardware. She’d be great to have around… if she’d listen to what she can and can’t take apart…. And not try to upgrade everything in secret….

As stated before, a menace. Though not through any ill nature. She’s playful, and lots of trouble, but generally means well- until she doesn’t. But that’s usually reserved for people who’ve throughly earned her ire…

I hope you all like Kak’lune- I don’t have all that much on her at this point because I’m trying to leave her a bit open ended for the DM to work with. When I get too detailed with backstory npcs I sometimes end up having to play them- without knows where the dm is going with them so it’s a situation I’m trying to avoid a repeat of :sweat_smile: .
