My Two-Tear Anniversary: Looking Back

Greetings, fellow Aminoans. Today marks the final day of my second year on SWA. I am sharing this not to gloat, but rather to thank a community that has played a part in my life. Before my time on Amino, I had little interest in social media; I didn't see the point. However, two years ago today, I saw an add for SWA in a YouTube video. I gave it a try, and, looking back, I can safely say it has been quite the experience.

When I first ed, I knew nothing about the platform. I only knew that I was among alleged fellow Star Wars fans. To my surprise, everyone was extremely helpful and welcoming: mods and fellow shinies alike. I made several friends and learned the basics on how to contribute to the community. A few weeks before my first year had come to a close, I had ed the 444th role play group and the PR team. Both continued the trend of kindness, treating my like one of them, and not some liability. During my time in these groups, I have had fun, made connections, and through PR, I helped make SWA more welcoming and safe. I got to help requite the same acceptance and kindness I was shown in the year prior. It was also during this time period I adopted the "Krennic" moniker, which many of you know me as.

My second year was even more eventful. I only had one post featured during my first year, but this past year I had over a dozen. I helped bring #TeamTrandosha, but I still had a blast.

My time in this community has been extremely rewarding. I've kept the community safe through PR, given the community things to enjoy through the Newspaper Team, and had fun all the while. In of friends, I've made too many to count; My friend's list in my bio is just a small snapshot. I thank you, fellow of Star Wars Amino, for making my time here great. I look forward with anticipation, eager to see what comes next.
