This episode continues the Trandoshan arc, with Ahsoka and the ex-younglings continuing to evade the Trandoshan hunters. When they try and hijack a ship, they rescue a prisoner, who is none other than Chewbacca.

This episode was an improvement to the last one- the action sequences were fun, Chewbacca was cool, and I loved seeing Sugi, Seripas and the Wookiee’s show up at the end. I wonder what happened to Jinx and O’Mar…

Imagine if after this episode where Ahsoka triumphs over the Trandoshan leader, proving her skill as a warrior and that she's matured from where she used to be in the movie, the jedi council see her worthy of knighthood, and possibly Knight her as a result, when you think about it, this two part finale was pretty much Ahsoka's trial of Coruage and Skill, and her finally proving she can handle herself now.
But I'm fine with Ahsoka remaining a padawan for most of the clone wars up to her leaving after being disillusioned with the order, with Mace, Mundi and Sassee Tinn just ing off her ordeal as her greatest trial....without an proper apology, though by that wording, it seems to imply they would have knighted her.
Like can you imagine a Jedi Knight rank Ahsoka?

That’s legends though for Anakin, and tbf even in legends, at least in 03 Clone Wars, most of his time as a Padawan is skipped through in a montage, besides Muunlist.

True, though I feel TCW should have at least had Anakin start as a padawan just to make his and Obi Wan's relationship transition less jarring when coming off AOTC, since both have arguments in EP II and are on rocky , but then suddenly in TCW they're on much better , maybe the Movie or Seasons 1 and mid way in Season 2 or 3 should have focused on Anakin's growth and then introduce Ahsoka later.

I agree, they should have had a whole season prior focusing on Anakin’s path to knighthood and then maybe introduced Ahsoka at the start of a second season
I feel like this episode (especially at the end) presents another major turning point in Ahsoka's character. What I mean by this is when she reunites with Anakin at the end, he feels so sorry for her that he couldn't protect her from being taken by the trandoshans, but then 'Soka tells him he already did everything for her and because of his teachings, she not only survived on her own but also led others to survive as well. Anakin is proud of her more than ever before and knows she can handle things on her own.
This is just a personal preference of some sort but I think that scene would've been slightly better if they hugged eachother after she thanks him, but even still this is one of my most favourite scenes from the show.
