CGI isn’t something you can just “change” in a finished product. That would cost a lot of money to do. We’ve got the blu-ray and 4K versions of all of the movies and that’s probably the best we’ll get at this point.

The CGI for the time of those movies were not cheesy you gotta understand cgi at that time was still new if anything the cgi for the prequels were game changing the prequels were among the first films to use CGI to create entire ing characters and worlds Lucas was pioneering a new way of making films, and a set of techniques that have become increasingly popular over the last decade and a half, he was both creating a new niche in the visual effects market and making audiences acutely aware of the limitations of the medium at the same time.

I mean, the sequels got the fan base divided more than anything else. If anything we need to go back to our roots.
