A many gem sketch concepts

So I was gonna make adopts. But alas I cannot. Because I love all of these too much.

HOWEVER

Some of these might become official gem species of mine cuz I think I could make some of them work.

In the meantime while I slowly color these, enjoy this large amount of gem concepts!

Creedite- space pirate/ bounty hunter that’s a part of an unfinished story I have in mind. He hides his gem with his eyepatch to as a human on earth because he likes to hide there. Possibly a villain or at least an antihero?

Wulfenite- gremlin boy who came out with a more feral personality than he should have. Needs all the hugs and head pats

Eulytine- if peridots were even tinier and more catlike, that would best describe this sassy little gal. She has a similar role to an aquamarine, but is a bit more laid back than them

Libethenite- Cute mans has plant powers. A fairly uncommon gem that is used to grow and study plant life from other planets to see when there or not they are compatible planets to take over and turn into kindergartens. This one in particular, that goes by Lyre, would rather just live on a plant-abundant planet in peace rather than helping them become destroyed.

Legrandite- A high-class gem that are both status symbols and generals that are above the authority of emeralds. They generally have the ability to form and throw any sort of small ninja-star like object that they can control the movement of. They are also excellent combat specialists that train soldiers, but don’t like doing the dirty work themselves. This one, who goes by Lydia, uses a fan that can separate into tiny crystals that she can hurl towards opponents.

Spiderweb Turquoise- this little gal is defected in a way that those in charge of making gems don’t quite understand. She was able to slip away quickly by climbing up the walls of the kindergarten before being captured for immediate shattering. She’s a survivor, but is an absolute prankster. She spent many years messing with the Quartz soldiers and guards on the kindergarten she hides in.

Khomyakovite- Kova are faun-like gems that are very rare. These gems are helper gems that work with Libethenites. They have a lesser amount of plant-related abilities as well, but also have the secondary ability to burn them away with ease using flames. This Kova and Lyre are close friends that have the same thought process of wanting to conserve plant life rather than destroy it.

Scarlet Temple Lemurian- Lemurians are the quicker picker upper gems, but they aren’t bounty lmao. These quick gems are given the job of Getting in and out of war situations as quickly as possible while picking up as many poofed gems off of the battle field as possible. Their feet work similarly to roller blades. Scarlet is simply one of these gems that does her job, but doesn’t necessarily enjoy it. After all, the casualty rate of Lemurians is very high

Shigaite- Shigaites are blacksmiths that often work together with Bismuths. They are primarily weapons specialists. This guy, who just goes by Shiggie, is a jokester that enjoys being as annoying as possible.

Aragonite- Big buff hero gems that are made to be warriors. They weren’t made to be smart, but just were made to follow orders and punch stuff. This Aragonite is a dreamer who wants to be a hero, but doesn’t have the ability to think of good strategies.

Olmite- This gal, along with other Olmites, work together with spinels at times because they are entertainer gems that are similar to earth clowns. This Olmite dreams of being more than just a joke and works hard to train for combat in secret, but is still silly in personality

Ajoite- this grumpy guy came out over cooked and small, but Ajoites are mostly used for their ice abilities that can make decorations for high class events. He’s great at his job but doesn’t care for the work and does it very begrudgingly
