I created a short story about Lapis and Jasper in the ocean for Peridotcut5xk (http://aminoapps.programascracks.com/p/mvdpn1) and thought that maybe y'all would like to read it as well! It's kinda short, but I hope you enjoy it!
/I personally do not ship these two, but with the corrupted gems being healed, I would love to see them come to an agreement of peace.
Also! I created two edits of Pearl. I might add quotes to them later./
The deep sea was soft blue with gentle hues of green, bubbles slipped from a fish's mouth as it swam through the water. No one would've guessed that just below that fish, jumping angrily on the yellow sand, was an unstable alien fusion.
Fury burned in Lapis' veins. Jasper's chest felt heavy with exasperation. Together, they made a grumbling Malachite scuffling up sand until it swirled into a large cloud. "You should've just left them alone!" Lapis shouted, her voice tinged with anger. "That was not my job!" Reminded Jasper, pulling at her large hair. "Besides, what decent gem wouldn't do her job because of a Rose Quartz?" She aimed this sharp question at Lapis, who gritted her teeth. "I gave up on the Diamonds ever since I was trapped inside that mirror! Steven saved me!" Jasper was stunned. She didn't know Lapis had been trapped in a mirror. "I...I didn't know that." Lapis stiffened. "Well, I'm not about to tell that story again." The two gems sat in the silence, and Malachite settled down into the sand. Finally, the fusion felt calm. "I'm sorry about..." Jasper hesitated, unsure what to call it. "....about the whole mirror thing." Lapis shrugged. "For once, It's not your fault." The two gems leaned against each other, at peace for the time being. A fish cut through the cold water, and Malachite seemed to smile as it ed.
