ANGSTY!! In my lore, Star and Moon were

Sun Diamond’s court and she was

shattered. They live where she used to reside.

The shattering of their Diamond..

Star Sapphire watched her as beloved Diamond,

her Sun’s shattered gem falling down. Landing

in front of her dress. She fell to her knees,

lace gloved hands of royal blue covering her

mouth as a loud sob came from her crème

colored lips. Tears began to stream from her

as she stared up at Blue Diamond. Screaming

at the taller Diamond, her voice quivered and

broke as she cupped the fragments of her Diamond.

Moon pearl felt tears well in her eyes as she

knelt beside the sapphire who was screaming

the same phrase over and over again.

”…you… YOU SHATTERED HER…”

”I always thought I might be bad now I’m “

Sure that It’s true..

——

It had been a few centuries since Moon Pearl

became Star Sapphire’s oficial personal pearl.

She held pieces of their shattered diamond

on a chain hooked to her glasses, she walked

past a room with Star Sapphire walking beside

her. She and Star were opposites.. she knew

that was true. But they loved their Diamond,

the loss hit them hard. Moon Pearl got

snarky comments from Yellow Pearl— they

argued daily until a boundary was crossed.

”At least my Diamond wasn’t shattered.”

The sentence stabbed her heart and twisted

the knife, Moon Pearl didn’t get a word in-

one of her shadow hands had took action.

Looming over her and scaring Yellow Pearl

away before she could say anymore. She had

come back to Sun Diamond’s old quarters.

Hugging her knees with her back against the

fallen Diamond’s mural.. her hands going into

her snowy white curled ringlets of her hair,

her vision blurring as tears streamed from her

face. She thought she was over it, she thought

she was fine.. she thought she mourned enough.

But the memory plays on repeat in her head,

watching her Diamond fight with Blue Diamond

and then it turned aggressive and she shattered..

She thought of Star Sapphire, the image of

perfection of their court after Sun’s ing.

It hurt her soul, she was nothing like either of

them. She was malevolent, she was feared

rather than loved. Hated rather than adored.

She heard a door open, Star Sapphire stood

in the doorway. Running to the distressed Pearl,

her voice full of worry.

”What happened Moon?..”

”Just.. Yellow pearl..”

”What did she say? Did She bring up Sun?!

I’ll get her myself if she dares - “

Star Sapphire was surprised out of finishing

her words when Moon Pearl wrapped her

arms around the sapphire and sobbed into

her shoulder. Star hesitantly hugged her,

rubbing her back as she felt tears roll down

her cheeks. Her voice breaking as she

softly whispered to the Pearl..

”I miss her too..”
