Art and Prizemaker team application!

I hope this isn’t too late, but I thought I’d shoot my shot! #FallEventTeamApps2021

I have left both my activity on this amino and on TOH amino. I haven’t had as much art drawn for this amino because of school and drawing non SU related art, which is why I don’t have as much activity here as usual. I always have my notifications on and am quick to answer any message I receive though.

My time zone is Pacific Daylight Time. I am free in about the late morning/early afternoons on mondays, tuesdays and thursdays, but I still check my phone frequently during my school hours because the classes are online. Fridays and Sunday’s are completely free. Saturdays I am pretty easy to as well but I have an evening class. All around, you can me anytime and I shouldn’t take long to respond.

I have been in several adopt teams over my years here, and am currently in one. I never technically left any of these groups because all of them were great, but the adopt teams simply decided to stop making weekly adopts at some point or another. I was usually the one to draw characters based on the chosen prompt, but I was promoted to a co-leader once. I had the extra duties of deg and posting the adopt issue a few times when the other leader could not.

I have also hosted my own mini events/art challenges, and have some many adopts on my own while I’ve been here. When it comes to the events, I created the challenge idea and provided AC and art prizes.

Being a senior year art student and having also been in several adopt teams, as previously mentioned, I’ve had plenty of opportunities to work in groups. As an example, I’ve done a group animation project where some people had to animate different characters and make them interact with each other. It took a lot of communication to get it done in the few weeks we had, but the final product turned out great!

Deadlines are very important to me and I don’t like being late. I always get my part done on time and am flexible with whatever is needed to be changed. I have never been late to turn in an assignment unless I was sick. I will be very likely to get things done ahead of time just to make sure it’s not too last minute.

If the team asks me for suggestions for events, I’m happy to try my best to help. I think deg ocs based on a seasonal theme, having certain writing prompts such as a love theme for Valentine’s Day, crossover ideas such as with The Owl House or another show, and even something fun like an April fools event where you make the most purposely cringy gemsona you can think of,I did something similar to the last one in the past and you can find it Here!

I think I would be a good fit for the Art team/ prize maker position because I can get things done on time, I enjoy exploring new ideas, and love to draw all of the time. I have done many commissions while being in this amino, and I have grown stronger as an artist because of that. I also have a lot of experience drawing characters of a wide variety of body types, which would be helpful for making prizes. Having a bit of graphic design experience from both class and creating logo designs as professional commissions, I feel like I would do well at helping design art team posters and pictures used in these posts.
